Scotch Essentials Wardrobe Tape Strips, 36 Strips (W-101-A)

This stuff does a fantastic job! Why did I not buy it years ago?! I have certain outfits that I love, but that move around so much that it prevents me from wearing them frequently: The dress that slips off my shoulder so often that I can’t wear it to work. The shirt that has recently become just tight enough that it opens at the bust between the buttons. The bras whose straps slip down so often that I’m constantly having to pull them back up. All the clothes that look great when adjusted just right in the store, but refuse to stay properly adjusted in real life. It’s maddening - and wasteful.These little magic strips have changed all that! Suddenly I’m able to maintain that perfectly-adjusted look, wear clothes I had given up on, and stop being constantly distracted and uncomfortable due to things moving around all the time.What I particularly like about this tape that makes it better than other garment tape I’ve tried are:1. The strips are already cut to a good size and you can slip a couple into your purse to have on hand at any time.2. The backing is easy to get off! I can’t stress this enough. Other garment tape I’ve used was extremely frustrating because it was so difficult to separate the backing from the tape itself. This tape, however, was clearly designed for easy removal.3. It’s stretchy. This is really important when you’re moving around all day and don’t want the tape to break or separate from your clothes with the slightest tug.4. It’s sticky. This stuff holds really well! It has not failed me even once. Yet it’s easy to remove and hasn’t left any residue on my clothes.

I had to come back and add a review because I love this product. When I bought it I wasn't sure if it would work because just about all the reviews I saw were for women's clothing, and usually for a fabric to skin application. But it works GREAT for men's dress shirts, applied fabric to fabric.If you're a guy who wears dress shirts without ties, a common problem is the collars not staying in place and opening way too wide, which ends up having you look like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. Your options to fix this are basically to only wear dress shirts with button down collars, wear ties all the time to hold the collars together, or to buy a product to fix it. I've tried everything actually marketed for this - magnetic collar stays like Wurkin Stiffs (the magnets aren't strong enough, and you'll loose them when they fall off), Fashion Anchor adhesives (not sticky enough - as soon as you start moving around your collar opens right back up), etc.The Scotch Essentials Wardrobe Tape Strips have been the best by FAR. The strips are long enough that I cut them and use half a strip per shirt. Usually I just put one half strip above the second button (above the first one actually buttoned, with the button at the collar open) and this makes the shirts look neat. If I'm wearing a shirt with a larger collar, I'll also cut two small pieces to go under each collar flap. The tape is strong enough to hold all day, even when I'm wearing a laptop bag or backpack to and from work. It's so strong that even if I was to wear my shirt a second time before washing, the tape would be strong enough to hold for another day. (Be sure to remove before washing or going to the dry cleaners.) Highly recommended!!!

Wore these with a beautiful plunge bandage dress for my birthday. I used them on my skin to my bra as well as from the bra to my dress. I’m going to see if they make wider strips (that was the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). I have a larger chest (36DD/E) and the tape would have worked better to keep the dress on the bra if it was wider. As far as the width for the breast to the bra, it worked just fine. It was a heavier material dress so had i used maybe 3 more strips it may have held better, but overall it was very successful!! My bra didn’t shift one time!!!! That’s hard to manage when ur top heavy like me! If i can’t find these in a wider strip, i will simply use additional strips to hold the bra to the dress. Definitely stock up on these!! I forgot to add that i fell asleep in my bra and when i woke up my bra was still stuck to my boobs in the position i placed them the evening before lol. It stuck very well!

I got these to use to hold a small section of a new top shut where it was open between buttons. Very adhesive, but also easy to remove. My intent was to remove between washes and use a new one since there are so many in this pack (and for a very reasonable price) but I forgot and when it came out it was still just as sticky - although I did not dry, so not sure if that would have made a mess. At any rate I was then worried that it might have a sticky residue once I did remove it, but it did not. These have proven to be a lifesaver already - I used them to fix a pant hem the other day too!

Item arrived before the due date and is as described. I found these worked pretty well skin too clothing. They Do Not work material to material. I tried to adhere my lightweight cotton cardigan to my nylon tank-top and it came apart before I left my bathroom after applying with my first movement, so only three stars for that. So for the skin to material, I would recommend this seller and product.

In love with the wearability of this tape. I do lots of cosplay in the summer time in Arizona (lots of sweat and sun screen). I have a few outfits where I need to have the illusion of having just ribbons tied around my legs that are not attached to anything. This usually never goes over well; they fall down, tie them too tight and they loose their delicate look, and they become uncomfortable and normally just get taken off. Using these really did help me save my ribbons; the tape sticks SO well to the skin and to lighter weight fabrics that I was able to tie them snug up to my knee with big bows and wear them comfortably all day at phoenix fan fusion. I did not have any issues with my ribbons falling down or becoming incredibly uncomfortable. I highly recommend these strips and I can’t get enough of them!
