IYNYN - this is an awesome pasta!

Better pasta, better dishes
This pasta will literally make any pasta dish you create taste better. Please do yourself a favor and try it. I will go for this over any other brand 100% of the time. The only downside is it's sometimes hard to find the shapes you need. There's a YouTube video about how this company operates if you're curious as to why the pasta tastes so much better.

Great pasta, disappointing shipping
Great pasta, one of the few Durham wheat/bronze-cut pastas. Be aware, however, Amazon fulfills this and ships it in a soft envelope. You will be unlikely to find any intact strands of spaghetti by the time the shipping process is done with your order. Not Mancini's fault, but beware of buying pasta from Amazon.

いつものパスタがお店の味に化ける 週末の密かな贅沢
パスタなんてどれも同じだと思っている人にこそ一度試してみてほしい麺です 普段はスーパーで手に入りやすいバリラなどをよく使っているのですが鍋から上げた瞬間の小麦の香りからして別次元でした 両者の違いは製法にあってバリラは表面がツルツルに仕上がるテフロンダイスですがこちらのマンチーニはブロンズダイスという昔ながらの金型を使っています そのため表面がザラザラしていてソースの絡み方が尋常じゃなく良いんですよね もっちりとした噛みごたえがあって麺自体にしっかりとした旨味があります 2.2mmというかなり太めのサイズなので合わせるソースは明確に選びます 濃厚なカルボナーラや赤ワインでじっくり煮込んだボロネーゼあとはパンチェッタを効かせたアマトリチャーナみたいな重厚なソースと合わせるとお互い負けずに見事な調和を見せてくれます 休みの日にちょっと手間をかけてソースから仕込んだ日は迷わずこの麺を出してきますね ただ注意点として太いぶん茹で時間が12分以上とかなり長いです 仕事帰りにサッとペペロンチーノを作って手早くお腹を満たしたいというような時短目的には全く向いていません またオイル系や冷製などのあっさりしたソースだと麺の主張が強すぎて完全にバランスが崩れてしまうので細麺の軽快なアルデンテが好きな人にはおすすめしません 時間をかけてじっくりと濃厚な一皿を作りたい時のためにストックしておきたい特別なパスタです
