Dr. MartensWomen's Women's 1460 Pascal Mono Amphibians

I have have had Doc Marten envy for YEARS but they have always been too voluminous for my feet. Trying them on in the past I was always told to go down a size. I'm between an 8.5 and a 9.... And a 8 was a ridiculous suggestion. Not only were my toes crammed but the boot was always still too sloppy.THEN I read the reviews on this specific boot and many people commented that they ran narrower and less "big" , many people stating they were too tight. I saved the model to my list because I wanted to look at them more.My husband ended up getting them for me for Christmas and they do fit much less voluminous than even the same model with the regular yellow stitching (?). They are still too voluminous but I added an insulative insole under the doc marten insole and it works. My laces are still 100% pulled as tight as they can go, but the length is spot on and I can wear them! I'm sure I'll have to do something else as they break in but for now, I can finally wear doc martens.I 💘 the all black of the mono and actually like it better than the yellow stitching. (all black is more me) The leather is very soft and comfortable even straight from the box. Looking forward to my journey in these boots!DOC MARTEN..... PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING LOWER VOLUME MODELS OF YOUR SHOES!!!!!!!! I doubt this goes anywhere but I will continue to plea. :)

These are. Absolutely beautiful, buttery soft leather and true to size or slightly bigger. They are lace up and perfectly white on white. I couldn’t believe how perfect they are, how soft the upper leather is. Highly recommend!

True to size- didn’t have to break in. Leather was soft. All around perfect & adorable boot.

SO comfortable. True to size. Great on Harley rides.

Why on earth doesn't Doc Marten's manufacturer CUT the PATTERN LARGER in this area. All you need to know is to do a search on how to stretch Doc Marten's to know this is a huge problem. There are pages and web sites designed to help with this problem. I have a feeling if they made the pattern larger for across the top of the foot they'd sell lots more. I returned a pair of classics to Doc Marten online for this problem. I saw this style on Amazon with softer leather thinking this would be an easy fix. NOT SO. Even with the salve from Doc Marten's, a boot stretcher, and a hair dryer it is slow going. Good grief.

I like the size of the shoe the fit right. I do not like the sole it is very thin. But the shoe is comfortable.

I normally wear a 7.5 to 8, these are a size 8 but run way small and narrow, I wasn't able to wear them for being so tight. What makes it worse is the stiching that connects the tongue to the instep creates a knot and is very stiff and obnoxious, really shouldn't be there, should be a smooth transition from tongue to instep with it being cut from one continuous piece of leather. I was so excited to get these, was going to be my birthday present to myself as they look more feminine than the regular docs with the mono color and no yellow stitching. Such pretty boots with soft beautiful leather, so disappointed.

Pros-Cute boots-All black combat boots, versatile (I like that they look different from classic DM boots)-Soft leatherCons-I'm still figuring out sizing, I have bunions and found them pretty uncomfortable after the first day, still breaking them in and trying to figure out the appropriate amount of lace tightness-No ankle support, not the most practical boots

These arrived today (a day early so I'm delighted) This is my first ever pair of DM's so I was a bit apprehensive but they are absolutely gorgeous and even nicer than I'd expected. They are chunky, but not overly so, and that'e exactly what I was looking for. I'm a size 5 and they fit me really well. I wouldn't be able to get thick socks on with them, but I'm okay with that, plus I would imagine over time the leather might loosen a bit. I would highly recommend these, you won't regret it.

Beau cuir grainé. Modèle (non coqué) monochrome original, j'aime bien l'étiquette noir et blanche à l'arrière au lieu de jaune.Taille ajustée, bien pour les pieds (et chevilles) assez fins. Je fais un 35/36 selon les marques et le 36 me va.Malheureusement j'ai dû renvoyer la paire, car la chaussure gauche m'allait très bien (chaussure bien ajustée à mon pied fin et cheville idem), mais ayant un petit soucis au pied droit, j'ai eu peur que le côté ajusté me fasse mal sur la durée. Malgré cela le modèle semble vraiment confortable avec ce type de cuir et sans coque.

I haven't even worn these yet (just got them) but they are so beautiful. I love the soft leather. Everything you expect from Doc Martens - quality, craftsmanship, style and black stitching!!
