American Girl Crafts Penguins Sew and Stuff Activity Kit

My 11-year-old daughter is a crafter and she had fun putting these together for her and her American Girl doll. She forgot the feet both times and had to go back and redo the bottom, but she was pleased with the materials and the outcome. It was not too difficult for her to read the instructions and do on her own and the finished products are both adorable.

I made these with my 8 year old grandaughter. The directions were easy to follow. The finished penguins were very cute. We did change up some things in the directions, like using three strands of floss to sew instead of the six as provided. We also used a shorter thread length, about 22"' instead of the recommended 36". These changes made the sewing process easier for little hands.

I actually bought this for my 9 year old son who LOVES penguins. I love that even though it's made by American Girls, it's it not to "girly" for my son. The only thing I had to help with is the sewing was knotting the thread and threading the needle.

Great craft for mother and daughter time. My ladies enjoyed it to full extent. At the end the little one got to keep the big one and the big one (my ol' lady) got the keep the small one. Sweet deal. Love to watch my wife and daughter interact. It's easy to assemble and all necessary things are provided. Instructions is clear and to the point.

I bought this and have as a gift. So cute and she loved it! She is 7 and it wasn't to hard for her to do!

great product for the kids, they were busy for a couple of hours. The only negative thing is that the amount of stuffing is not enough for both of the penguins.

Bought for my 9 year old daughter who loves penguins and American girl. She was excited but it was so much work she lost interest. Never when together.

Bought as a gift. Embarrassed at the cheap quality. Shipping was very late.
