The Game of Things... Expansion/Travel Pack

This is a fun and easily packable game to take along on camping or other trips. It works well for several players... 4-6 seems about the right number here. It also does not cost much.

This is a family classic and we have multiple versions of the game. We often find ourselves reaching for this one as it is in a small, hard plastic case that makes it easy to travel with or to take to someones house. We've spent many afternoons playing this game amongst multiple generations of family that included grade school aged kids, teenagers, adults and grandparents. Super super easy to learn as you just need to figure out who wrote what but the laughter and shock of what people will write make this a game very memorable!

Fun game!

This game is silly and gets the family together. We had the game years ago when my older sons were little. Not much has changed, most of the answers my nine-year-olds give are somewhat crude bathroom activities, but it gets us all together and laughing, which is much better than sitting on tablets. I highly recommend The Game of Things!

I'm a mental health therapist who works with adolescents. This game is a huge hit with most of my teens, and the questions are broad enough that they can be answered in a generic broad way, or in a really personal way that opens up a ton of great discussion. There's also funny questions that lighten the mood, and make it not so "therapeutic" and still feel like a game. I'd definitely recommend to parents to use with their kids too because it's a great tool to open up communication and laugh together. For $5 this was a steal. Definitely get these!

Bought this as part of a feeble attempt to keep my kids off of electronics for more than 5 minutes during a 7-hour roadtrip. We didn't really play it as a game, I just read through the cards and we each shouted out our answers/ideas. The questions were fun and mostly easy enough for them to come up with an answer for. Even the 4 year old could answer most of them and I could see once they're a little older the 9 & 10 year olds will be able to come up with more "funny" answers. They liked taking turns being the one reading the card and asking everyone the question, but you will go through the deck pretty quickly. I'm sure there are better parents out there who could come up with creative twists and make this last longer, but alas, that ain't me. I think it's a fair price for getting everyone to use their minds creatively for a little while, and probably a little more fun played as a game and actually guessing who submitted which answer. It kept them off electronics for awhile during traffic, so it's a win.

I first played this game - the original full version - about 5 years ago with several family members and we all loved it! It’s so easy to play and there are no right or wrong answers (unless you just lie and so you have to trust the people you’re playing with are being honest). But scoring points to win can be pretty tricky, depending on how well you know the people you’re playing with and how strategic they are in the answers they give. The “questions” are really just categories, and they are very random, and then with everyone having the option to pick what answer they want to write, this game is always full of surprises! The basic game play is like this: for each round there is a card drawn with a category on it like “THINGS you don’t want to get in the middle of” and “THINGS you would like to ask Siri” for a couple examples. Then each player writes down the answer they want to give on a little strip of paper (provided in the game) and folds it up and then the Reader for that round reads aloud everyone’s answers. Then everyone takes turns guessing who wrote which answer and when you guess correctly you score points. It’s that easy… but it can get pretty crazy! ;P So after playing it that first time (it was my sister-in-law’s game), I kept thinking I should get my own since they live in another state, and then finally I saw this little travel version for a good price as an add-on item here on Amazon so I go it and once again it brought a lot of laughs a couple weeks ago at our family reunion. There were players as young as 7 years old up to late 40s. Ideally you want to play with people in their teens and up, and it’s usually more fun with people you know pretty well.

We play this game for hours and laugh so hard we cry!

Fun game to play with friends while you’re chatting and having drinks. An amusing group of friends gives anmusing answers, always a laugh.

I loved the product but unfortunately due to the rapid declining poor customer service i have decided to cancel my account I habe slways felt that the best customer service I habe ever had was with Amazon but recent transaction has left a horrible scar and I hope nobody else endures this but if you shop here like I did you will soon find out that this once small company that I bive built their trillion dollar company from what I considered the best customer serviced I have ever had now do not need to meet those expectations. Way to go Amazon. Likely this will not get posted because Amazon will want to let people find out the hard way so if not I will find another way to voice my opinion and if it does get posted it just a warning for anyone who has been long time customer

This game is great for your closest buddies, it'll bring up shared memories and adventures you've enjoyed. Another great feature is it is extremely travel-friendly, it's very compact and light, it can easily be placed in your suit case without taking up any needed space.

Great fun with four or more people. Good for ages over 8. We had many laughs and used our imagination.

Great family game. We adapt it for larger groups. Lots of laughs and crazy fun.
