GarageVac GH120-W White Surface Mounted Vacuum Cleaner

After days of searching for a vacuum for the garage, I came across this unit. I was impressed by its small compact size but wondered about power and suction. We use the shop-vac a lot in the garage and this unit would have to replace it. I purchased it and quickly hung it on the wall. My only regret is that I didnt purchase this unit sooner. What an amazing vacuum. My wife loves being able to vacuum the car without being in the garage (40ft retractable hose). The suction is better than our shop vac. I would order additional replacement bags because you will end up using this vacuum for everything. Excellent quality, excellent vacuum. I have since purchased a GarageVac built in unit for the boat. Two of my favorite purchases of 2013.

I really like the unit. I waited a few months to buy and the price went up. Still a great bang for the buck.

If you're looking for a vacuum to keep your cars clean, this definitely fits the bill. It has good suction and a fairly long hose. A solid product. But beware, this is NOT a heavy-duty shop vac, and, to be fair, it's not advertised as such. It uses traditional vacuum cleaner bags that are a bit on the small side, so you won't be sucking up large items like leaves, yard waste, etc. that may accumulate on your garage floor. The hose is advertised as "...stretching to 40 feet". Nope. If I attempted to stretch this hose to a full 40 feet, I'm afraid the hose would pull apart or it would pull the vacuum out of the wall. 20 feet is about the max.

It’s a very powerful vacuum. Was easy enough to wall mount but can also work great lying flat on its back. Being over 6’ tall, I do wish the wand extended longer as I have to bend or take short swipes to clean with the wand and floor tool. I did notice some fine dirt did get through the cloth bag. I also got a fixed hose length to use in place of the stretch hose that came with the vacuum. It’s better in my experience.

No problem at all with this vacuum. We use it only on our two new cars and it works great. The hose has a good length and the accessories and suction makes me wish we had bought this before.

This is a vacuum suitable for light duty dusting. Flexible hose is soft and when vacuum is turned on hose collapses half way further reducing suction to point that vacuum is useless. Collection bag is small, similar to a handheld portable vacuum. I had high hopes for this product but it is a waste of money. Light weight is not a factor since it mounts on wall.

This unit would be fine if the hose didn't constantly snap away from the end piece/coupling that attaches to the tools. It's advertised as stretching to 40ft but it really only reached 20 feet. You need double the hose to make this get around fully in a standard garage. Calling customer service was no help.

i liked the temp let to show ehere to but the screws for wall hanging plenty of suction i have it installed in my laundry room the stairs are next to the laundry room they are carpeted so vacuum the stairs with the long hose its very easy i also use one of the attachments to clean the lint out or my dryer where the screen is i take the screen out put the attachment on put it down in side ang everything out worth the money it streemline it get the job done
