Seeking Ethical Publishers inquire within
FIRST: I had to give this one star or it wouldn't allow me to post. Its slightly ironic that the title of this book regulates Lawyers when the publishers of our text books are the real crooks. I was required to purchase this book for a summer course and after paying $211 expected a Text of some "substance" boy was I mislead. For starters over 1/3 of the text that was in the previous edition was missing. It is hard enough to understand some of the concepts and theories in Legal Text books as it is, when you take out vital portions of information that explain these sometimes far reaching opinions it diminishes the capacity of learning. I should not have to seek an additional supplement to a $211 text. Secondly, the binding and cover graphics appear as if a novice printer undertook this publishing job with a $50 printer, not an Highly respected Academic Publisher. The paper is so thin that at times the pages rip right out if you are not careful. Additionally, you can view the print from the opposing side, so highlighting is futile at best it just bleeds right through the other side. If you want to cut cost I understand, but you may have wanted to consider not putting out an abhorrent legal text to up and coming Attorneys for a Professional Responsibility and Ethics course. You, Sirs or Madame, should examine your Professionalism and Ethics when Publishing a Product with Your Name and Reputation on it that is BEYOND REPREHENSIBLE.

Publisher's Greed
I could not figure out why the book would be half the physical size of the 9th edition until I bought it. The cover was horribly warped and the pages are so thin a sneeze could rip through them. They feel cheaper than a code book! Not to mention that any highlighter will bleed through each page. There are also 300 less pages in this edition and it is 40$ more expensive then its predecessor! Horrible quality materials and more expensive then the last one. Just another terrible example of publishing companies out to rip off students.
