Kenai Chest Holster for 686/L Frame Revolvers, MAS Grey/Coyote, Right Hand (Gen 2)

I am extremely happy with this purchase which fits my 686P (7 shot) like a glove. Please not that Kenai made a mistake in their insert distributed with the holster which says that this holster doe not fit the 686+. It does. Perfectly. I emailed Kenai and they confirmed that this was a mistake. In reality, not only does it fit the 686+ perfectly, it also is a fantastically comfortable product. I live in hot and humid Florida were leather is not an option for the outdoors, at least not in my opinion, but this holster offers an ideal combination of very high quality and strong nylon and a kydex holster are perfect. I carry this one right over my solar plexus and it is extremely comfortable, even when I carry a Camelbak lobo for water and a RIBZ front pack. By the way, I am a big guy (6'3 - 260lbs) and the holster fits me very well, I could easily add a jacket or parka in cold weather and wear it both under and over this. In sum - this is a very good product and you really get your money's worth. One more thing: Kenai answered my email the same day. So the company is good too. I highly recommend both!

Surprised on fit I wear 52” suit jacket. Still had room, secures weapon comfortably. Have other large caliber pistols which I will be purchasing holsters for. Glad to know American made by a fellow veteran.

I would have rated this higher the first few years I had it. Lately I am noticing how loud the pivot points are when I’m in the woods. Also you have to have the straps pretty tight if you want a fast draw. And there are no keepers to secure the loose strap ends.

Quality is good little tight fit on my S&W 686+ to tight the mane thing I didn't like is its not comfortable I'm thin and the kydex hurts my boney chest even with 3 shirts now if I put it outside of my heavy coat it's no problem but in NY needs to be concealed . returned it going to try a leather one.

Absolutely could not be happier. I'm 6'5" and 425 lbs and it has more than enough adjustment. It is by far the most comfortable holster I own. I bought it for working on my ranch and it is perfect. It doesn't get in the way at all when jumping on and off equipment or operating

Great holster. I have a S&W 686 plus 04”. The barrel only sticks out of the bottom about an inch.Wore it on a 18 mile backpacking trip and held up great. Lockup is very positive to the pistol. Pistol does not rattle or make noise when hiking. I am very glad I purchased the holster.

Very comfortable. Easy to adjust and use, gun access is important when hunting alone, gives me confidence.
