ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular 24 inch (61cm) Stainless Steel Knitting Needle Size US 7 (4.5mm) 7024-7

I love Chiagoo Lace needles and have almost all sizes. The needles are quite pointy which makes knitting much easier than when using thicker more round ended needles. It is easier to get underneath stitches and easier to catch a stitch that falls. Also unlike some other circular needles, the red wire doesn't twist which makes those others annoying to use if your yarn doesn't take up the entire length of the wire. The red Chicago wire lays straight, doesn't wind itself.

I’m an advanced beginner at best. I’ve just started my first circular project. I cast on to one cable and realized I’d picked a cable far too long. I knitted the next row onto my shorter needle and realized immediately that the cable was junk. My work literally got stuck about one inch down the cable and refused to budge. So I hopped on Amazon and saw the only cable in the length I needed that could get here quickly enough was one of these far more expensive needles.Decided to just splurge since I needed it and OMG have I been missing out with cheap needles. This is AMAZING! My yarn glides so smoothly. The needles are comfortable and pick everything up so easily. I’ve never knit so seemingly effortlessly.This is truly a case where you get what you pay for. I’m never going to buy cheap needles again. These are worth every penny.

The yarn easily moves form the metal needle to the wire between them and back on again which makes for great quick knitting. Very durable and comfortable to hold

I am a long time knitter- maybe 60 years now. I have used all kinds of knitting needles, from basic dime store brands to the expensive, top of the line ones. These ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular knitting needles are my favorites. I am in process of replacing all my other circular needles with the entire set of ChiaoGoos, one project at a time. I love the smooth cable that never kinks. Yet it is flexible enough that magic loop knitting is not difficult. The points are lace tip meaning that they are more pointy and tapered than non-lace tips. The finish is smooth. The points are very pointed but not so sharp they are painful to use, like other lace tips I have used. But their best attribute is the cable. For a circular needle, the cable is what makes them a joy to use, or a battle all the way. The ChiaoGoo needles are flexible and straight as soon as they are taken out of their storage sleeve. Even the most high grade plastic or nylon cables require time and warmth to straighten out after storage. And, as they get older, they get worse. And knitting with a needle with a cable wanting to stay in a coil is no joy. My only question about the ChaioGoo needles is how their cables will hold up as years go by. I've been using them for several years and don't see any change yet. And, based on their construction, I will be very surprised if they change much with age. I am happy with these! Note: I have not tried the ChaioGoo needles with replaceable tips so can only comment on the one piece variety.

Doesn’t tangle

These are great needles. Smooth with a nice join and the cables are beautiful

I got into sock making and these work really well. They are sturdy, no kinking of the cable, yarn slides nice. Needles are very pointy, would like them a little more rounded

Yarn slides easily across these stainless steel Needles, yet they are not too slippery. Just right. The tips are very sharp.

Thud is a great product - perfectly serviceable needles- but weirdly there is no gauge on it: not printed or stamped on the needles nor printed on the package. Strange.

I love these knitting needles the fact that the cord has no memory makes them so much easier to knit with. If I only had to have a complaint it would be that I am unable to get buy the set as it is too expensive for my budget so I will be ordering one as needed. I do love these needles and I have had no problems with the prompt delivery.
