Anjelah Johnson: The Homecoming Show

To her credit, her routine was clean and family friendly. Sadly, she wasn’t funny. I wanted to like her; she seems like a good kid. I had seen a few of her Youtube clips that were quite humorous, but I didn’t even smile during her entire routine. Yes, I watched it all. I’m going to guess that I might not have been her target audience, but humor is humor, and this wasn’t humorous. Sorry.

Anjelah shows her truly awesome comedic talent in this incredibly funny comedy show and she manages to pull it off with the greatest of ease while using absolutely no vulgarity and almost no profanity which is so refreshing to see but almost non-existent in a modern comedian! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great comedic talent as well as those who are looking for an alternative to the foul-mouthed majority of comedians in our society.

Funny gal, can watch her over and over. Keeps clean too. I understand people swear today, but really don't need to use swear words to be funny.

Funny and gorgeous Anjelah. Clean. Hilarious snippets of the lives of women. All ages can enjoy this together.

Anjelah is funny without the dirty. Her humor is fresh, and you can tell a lot of effort went into developing her routine.

I've seen Anjelah do her concert routine on T.V. Having seen her earlier DVD, I couldn't wait to see "Homecoming Show'. She saves the best for last , when she talks about going out for a taco at 10 o'clock at night. Her facial expressions are priceless. I only wish this show was longer, it's only 60 minutes, not counting bonus features If you loved Tammy and the "Nail Salon", from "That's How We Do It", you'll love "Homecoming Show".
