Only 1 con
I like everything about the dash kit for my 06 Dakota . The only thing that bothered me is I couldn’t use the original trim piece that came with the aftermarket stereo. But I’m not throwing off on this product because it looks great and did everything it was suppose to do . That’s why I gave it 5 stars and I would definitely buy again.

Easy to install
This was so great! I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited edition. My old radio ate one of my CDs and didn’t even have an aux port so I couldn’t listen to my music anymore. First time I ever put in a new radio and it was a piece of cake! I had ordered a previous dash adapter but that didn’t work at all for the radio I ordered. This one does the job, the radio doesn’t fit in it perfectly but it still looks great!

Good, but maybe too snug.
Really good kit, solid feel, and built nice and strong. The only issue I've got, that may be my radio, is that this kit is too narrow for my radio (the portion that has the half moons on the sides is too narrow for the front of my radio. I'll bump it to 5 stars if my next radio fits better. (the radio I've got is the Boss BV9986BI).It would be nice if I could adjust how far in the radio sits as well. When it's tucked in (like it actually should be) it fits perfect, but when the motorized screen comes up it makes contact with the car's cover panel and can't open all the way. Also their isn't enough room for the radio's beauty panel (that has cut outs for the arms on the motorized screen).

I tried to put the stereo in the installation kit ...
I tried to put the stereo in the installation kit, before final install into the vehicle. The stereo is either too big or the kit is too small. I have a 2005 jeep gc. I had to "shave" off a bit to get the molding in. I will write a follow up after the final install. Finally installed the stereo. It goes in ok. I couldn't use the top edge molding, because it would get in the way of the dvd screen. If I installed a non-dvd stereo, it might have fit perfectly. But all in all, I made it work.

Essential product
Fits Dodge truck. You will need a wiring harness, and may need an extra module to interface to steering wheel controls.

It works and the price was right
I knew I'd need a kit for my 2008 PT Cruiser when I decided to remove the crap factory radio. This does the job but assembly is a little... odd. It's not difficult by any means, it just snaps together where I'd assume there would be a little more to do. If you want to use the pictured plastic ears to hold the radio in place then you'll either need to get a radio that includes the screws or buy them separately. If you use a DIN mounting sleeve then there's no need for those ears. One thing that isn't mentioned on the product page is that the radio will be recessed in the dash and therefore the factory trim ring won't be needed. As far as the items in the product description go:Product FeaturesInstall dash kit for Single DIN/ISO Radios - TrueIncludes a storage pocket below the radio - TruePatented snap-in ISO Support system - I'm guessing this is referring to the ears, if so then you'll need screws to attach them to the radio.Designed and manufactured with precision tolerances, resulting in a gapless fit between the dash and the kit - True, it fits perfectly and leaves very, very little open space around the radio.Painted to match factory dash color - Shenanigans. The kit is black, most of the consoles I've seen around the radio are silver.Overall, no complaints. I'd buy it again.

Exactly right for my Jeep commander.
A little confusing at first, but once I understood the instructions, it made for a flawless installation and perfect look in my Jeep Commander.

Looks great!
I was a little leery about how this would fit and look. Turns out I didn't have to be, because it Fits into the dash, very well, and looks great.

Actually fits!
Does not include the screws to mount the head unit to the mounting bracket, since those are unique to each head unit. It does leave 2 semi-circular black areas beside the head unit where the Dodge radio knobs used to be. I didn't care because I got a 10.5 in touch screen that sat in front of everything anyhow. As-designed, this adds a new small cubby above the existing Dodge cubby, but in my case, both were hidden behind the touch-screen. Very solid with no wiggles when installed. Exactly fit the 4 screw holes in the dash and the alignment pins were spot-on too.

Not fit need to cut a bit on the sides
Not a good fit need to cut on side

Be careful
Careful while pressing this together, even more careful when pulling apart. Where the plastic pieces click onto eachother, those little plastic spokes can easily snap off. Otherwise it's perfect for my 2010 pt cruiser with an aftermarket radio.
