I use it to help me get to sleep. I didn't expect the sound quality to be very good on this player but it is quite good for what I need. I can set the timer for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, 150 minutes,180 minutes. I don't like the sounds it makes when changing functions--too loud and jarring. It would be nice if I could lower the player sound more than it is capable of doing. It can use a stand or can be mounted on the wall. Overall I'm happy with this item.

the bass is not thaaat bass, but it's ok at small ambients; anyway, you could plug it in a stereo speaker and it improves the quality. It's a shame that the gadget doesn't have a cover to the CD lens, so the dust can accumulate

Update: 8/21/21: I purchased this during the first Covid summer and it didn't last even a year. It stopped working completely in April 2021. It wouldn't even power on anymore. I'm super bummed about my KecagOriginal review:I've had my kecag for a little over 2 years and I've loved it, great sound quality, but I wouldn't use it for a big party or to sound a whole house... The past few weeks though, the Bluetooth keeps cutting out. So now I'm ready to buy another one...., everything else still works. But I mostly use this to listen to audiobooks/music or meditations before bed... The noise it makes when the bluetooth disconnects and reconnects is super annoying and alarming when you're trying to fall asleep. I think two years is fair and good use of it. The remote control was kind of rinky dinky, but since I use my phone to control all the audio, it never really bothered me.

The website says it plays all cd formats. It did not play any of my cds. I tried music and audiobooks and each read “Error”. We tried two different ones. My cds are not homemade. Seller asked what is the cd format. How the heck should I know? It plays on other boom boxes and CD players I would give it a -10 if I could.

My beloved CD player stopped working and trying to find a replacement seems impossible. This unit I decided to try. Well. it's ok. There are a few things that concern me, like, the cord is also the on-off switch. I'm heavy-handed and fear pulling too hard, also pulling it over, if not mounted on the wall. It needs a dust cover. For the best sound use a blu-tooth speaker and I hate programming the radio station manually. When you switch to the CD player, the radio has to be re-programmed. You will need the remote. It's going to have to be until I can find a better one
