The antenna mast on my Volvo 960/S90 was a car wash victim. This replacement worked perfectly plus its written instructions were very helpful in rounding out a couple of YouTube videos. A key trip on the instructions were inserting a drill bit to keep the old mast from collapsing when using vice grips to extract a corroded collar. Well done on all counts!

PERFECT!I was told by my local Volvo dealer and two mechanics that my antenna was not fixable due to lack of aftermarket parts. Well, a quick search on trusty amazon proved otherwise. After reading the many positive reviews of this product, and especially watching the How To video by RobertDIY that one reviewer referenced, I had the confidence to give it a try.I am not handy around the house. Anything I try to DIY fix takes me forever. This job took me about two hours - the majority of time spent looking for the various tools I would need and taking apart the multiple panels and pieces inside my trunk to access the antenna housing and motor - all of this was explained in the video. Once I gained access to the antenna housing, the removal of the old broken parts and installation of the new product was successful on the very first try! Success!I am so happy to find Made in America well-priced, quality products, and love that this is a multi-generational family owned and operated business. I will seek them out in the future when I need aftermarket change parts! Thank you!

Great value for OEM antenna replacement! Arrived a day later than scheduled but still faster than if I bought it anywhere else, and much cheaper than a genuine Volvo antenna.Replacement is a moderately easy task, a bit daunting for the faint of heart, but if you tackle it yourself, watch RobertDIY’s video on YouTube for replacing the mast and he walks you through the entire process. Took me a little under an hour only because I was being very thorough, the hardest part is feeding the new antenna into the motor after you’ve removed the old antenna and rip cord. Also make sure you use the bottom sleeve on the old antenna for the new one, if your new one does not come with a new metal sleeve, mine did, but I’ve seen comments that say their’s did not, and they didn’t know to use the old sleeve for the new antenna to keep it from extending too far out of the hole.It works perfectly as it did the day it left the factory! If for any reason the antenna breaks again in the future (make sure to turn your radio off before parking overnight in freezing weather, that’s how mine broke, it iced over) I will buy this replacement antenna again.
