This works very well. My dogs are not afraid of it.
Easy to remove hair. Some brushes are so pointy my dogs hated to be brushed. Now with this brush it isn't sharp points. My dogs really enjoy being brushed.

Helpful tool to remove mats
This is very helpful for our rough coated border collie in the never ending quest to keep her coat mat free after a swim in the lake. The long tines help get to the root of the mat, then we use the "long Haired" furminator to work the mat out.
