THIS IS JUST WHAT I WANTED. NO TICKING, NO WINDING, NO BATTERIES TO FOOL WITH. THIS IS A SIMPLE CLOCK YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO USE. GREAT FOR ANYONE WHO IS A SENIOR CITIZEN, HANDICAPPED OR WANTS SOMETHING SIMPLER THAN WHAT THEY SELL TODAY. NO NUMBERS MADE OUT OF LITTLE LINES THAT CAN EASILY BE MISTAKEN FOR OTHER NUMBERS OR HAVE TO BE VIEWED STRAIGHT ON TO BE READ EASILY. AS LONG AS A GRAMMAR SCHOOL KID CAN READ ANALOG CLOCKS, THIS WOULD BE A WONDERFUL FIRST ALARM CLOCK FOR THEM AS IT IS SO EASY TO USE. IF YOU LIKE YOUR CLOCKS COMPLETELY DARK, JUST GET A CUBE-SHAPED TISSUE BOX, CUT OFF THE TOP, TAKE OUT ALL THE TISSUES, AND PLACE UPSIDE DOWN OVER THE CLOCK WHEN YOU WANT IT DARK. THE DIMMER IS ADJUSTABLE FROM BRIGHT TO DIM, AND I LIKE THE DIMMEST SETTING AS IT GIVES ME A SMALL NIGHTLIGHT, AND I CAN STILL READ THE TIME, EVEN WITHOUT MY GLASSES. A CHILD MIGHT LIKE THIS SMALL NIGHTLIGHT, WHICH ISN'T REALLY AN OFFICIAL NIGHTLIGHT.

I like the fact that it’s electric because I use it at a hunting camp. If the time is wrong, I know the power was off. I wish it was a bit brighter but it serves the purpose.

I've had this clock for 6 months. All the features were great, EXCEPT strangely now, regardless of the time which the alarm is set for or whether it is even in the on or off position, the clock disregards that. It will keep beeping on its own until I unplug the clock or hit snooze. As soon as snooze is done the alarm beeps again. This clock is no longer usable after only 6 months.

Good, plain analog clock for my bedroom. It came in a very timely manner. But, it is so bright (even with the blue) that I have to cover it with a filter to sleep. It is easy to use.

Easy to read the times with background color

The previous light for this model clock has been "progressed" to an ice cold blue I do not like. It's a small change that some or many people will probably like, especially if they must constantly be on the cutting edge of whatever. I place the clock on its face at night. The light does allow itself to be dimmed, but not entirely turned off. So I am grateful for this. But the ice blue still permeates the room even when face down. Brrrr. I wish the change had not been made. The yellow-white was so pleasant.The alarm is useless. I set it for 5:00 and it went off beeping at 4:35.

Its easy to use, gives off a nice blue light at night and you don't have to mess with a bunch of goofy settings and blinking digital lights. I am 76 years old and this little alarm is the best for me.
