Good story line could really get into the story. I do feel that more descriptive details could have gone into the characters. Other than that, loved it!

It was a decent read. I felt alot of it kind of dragged on- by the time I got to the 3rd book I was kind of skimming alot of it.The sex scenes are steamy and I didn't feel that there were too many- maybe a little long for some readers, but it was okay for me. I wouldn't mind reading some of the other books in the series, but I may skim through then if they are as long and tedious as this one felt sometimes.Plenty of details about all the shifters.I did feel that Av's school details didn't really carry though to the book. The catalog I figured would list their attributes and that her not having any would be mentioned more- or in her interview she would bring it up- and then slowly everyone would figure out she actually was proficient in a lot of things. But really the only thing brought up while she's with the pack is her cooking and then her poetry at their mating ritual.

So I went into the book after looking for a wolf shifter romance. I read reviews and came across one saying that there was too much sex and not enough story. After finally finishing I agree. I had to start skipping scenes halfway through.I enjoyed the overall storyline but it was a hard book to get through because it was unnecessarily long. If it had less sex scenes (which did not enhance the storyline for as many as there was) it would have been a better book.I am in no way against sex in books but it really got to the point where it was like ugh again?!? I just want to know what happens next not be interrupted by sex every chapter.I'm going to try and continue the series but this has definitely soured me some.

I needed a little more action and twists but overall a good book that I read in 3 days. I enjoyed how the main character was curvy and not skinny seeing how most women have curves and struggle with that insecurity

This book kept me wondering what was going to happen next. I have read so many books the story lines get predictable but this one had me wondering how the story was going to go. Definitely worth the read.

Girls at Alma Venus are groomed to become shifter wives. They are sold to respective Alphas of all types of shifter. Max Blackstone is one of those Alphas. Avelyn compared to the other girls was a little on the big size so she was sure she would never be picked to be someone's wife. She had her own dreams about moving to ITALY to open a bakery.While reading out in the sun she sees a man wondering around her and the grounds of Alma Venus.Max was looking for a bride. Since he has seen Avelyn he knew she was his mate. Max looked through all the books on brides but could not find her. Asking the head mistress if she had any other books when he opened the last book was Avelyn.He picked a number of women one being Avelyn' best friend Delsey. He interviewed Delsey and a couple of other Avelyn was sure that he would picked Delsey since she was groomed to become a wolf bride. Thin and beautiful.But, after speaking with Avelyn made up his mind on Avelyn.She looks at this as a chance to escape when she is brought to his house.On looking for ways to get out of the house she finds the dungeon. She hears crying and she searches for the person crying. Where she meets Sabine who she finds out is Max's first bride. Needless to say what a shock it was to Avelyn...To find out how the story progresses you have to buy the bookseries.I was given this free for an honest review. Would highly recommend..

First just let me state that I rarely give above 3 star rating but this book was worth it. Once I started it I really did not want to put it down .The characters were well written and the story line flowed smoothly with a cliffhanger at the end of each volume . The next volume cleared up the cliffhanger and continue the story .Avery and Max'so meeting was not what either had planned. Max wanted a political bride while Avery did not want to get married at all .Upon their first meeting Max knew she was his one but Avery did not feel the same way.Secrets between the two will cause hurt feelings , death and destruction and the clans will pay a huge price.This is not a fairy tale but political dealings at best with love and sacrifice in the mix.

What will they alldo now?

I liked that it was a boxset so I could just read straight though if I wanted. The story was good enough but not the best books I've read. To me it was an easy read something i could follow but didn't have to think hard about which was what I was looking for. I liked how the relationships between the characters grew especially between sister in law's .

I am novice reviewer and amateur reader of werewolf romance novels so placing my disclaimer that this is my personal opinion. This is my 1st book the author Cara Wylde. It's a good read though loved the erotic parts but felt it was repetitive. I wish there was clarity on the relationship of of Christine and Sabin and also more development to Avelyn and Sabins' conversations. I would have loved to have had more POV's of Max and also some of Jocelyn. Overall a very enjoyable novel.

Wow! This book, or rather series of books , were very very easy to get into! The storyline just kept growing, and they twists and turns were well thought out! The fmc, well I liked her in the beginning, but as I got deeper into the series, I began to realize that she seemed to be a holier than thou kind of person! Earlier in the book series, she was a very fiesty, sassy young woman, and put up a good gight, fighting her attraction to her mc. However, later on in the series, she just seems to have become a besotted young woman, who seemed to believe everything the m&s told her!!! However, this did not detract from the story, and I soon started to like her again, near the end of the series. This is such a good series, I highly recommend it to all you ladies out there!!!

This is a story in 6 parts that tell us all about Avelyn who was brought up by an exclusive school to be trained as a shifter bride, and Max Blackmane who has come to the Alma Venus Boarding School looking for a bride. Avelyn has no intention of being a bride and dreams of making her way in life on her own, and Max (when he sees her in the school gardens) decides he will accept no one else but her (no matter how unwilling or unsuitable she is).Their story contains lots of drama, jealous exes and political intrigue as they get to know each other and try to build a life together. There are lots of mistakes and some miscommunication on the way, but will they make it to the end of the story with a HEA?I loved this story - it's very sweet and has some moments of real emotion. There are a lot of sex and sexual descriptions and I felt the quantity detracted slightly from the story. However I still enjoyed the story and found myself being drawn into the various complications.

This was another shifter story but with a twist that I enjoyed.I didn't think I would but gave it a go and went through all the books straight away.It's nice that the author made this about a curvy girl and that was refreshing.The sexy Alpha wanted her above all other woman and I really liked it.Give it a go and if your like me and want a naughty sexy supernatural book to read then I think your gonna enjoy.Well worth my time reading it.
