Very easy to install and fit my wife’s Mac book perfectly. It’s extended the life of her computer now and it’s back to working well without needing to be constantly plugged in. I feel this is pretty good value also!

I got this battery installed in Jan 2020 for my MacBook Air Mid 2011 model A1369. Easy installation, tools included, quality replacement and good price. So far, it has been 4 months (45 cycles) and still running great. Hold charge pretty well. I would recommend this battery.Aug 2020 Update: After 7 months, the battery charged to only 60% max and it took much longer than usual to reach 60-70%. Tried reset SMC, drain battery and recharge without improvement. Not sure what to do. Now I have to pretty much plugged in to use my MacBook Air :(. I expect that the life should last longer. Will have to drop the star to 3.08/20/2020: The vendor contacted me and offer to replace the defect battery. I hope to get a good one that lasts this time. I will update the review as soon as I receive and test out the replacement. I can't wait until the replacement comes in (this battery is now only charge to 4%).08/29/2020: The vendor sent me a code to allow me to get the battery almost free replacement. It's great that they stand behind the product. I just installed it on 08/29/2020. I took the old battery out and found out that it swell on the first cell that near the connector. That might be the reason that it does not charge pass 4% and not holding the charge. I also did the charge/discharge cycle with the replacement battery as recommended. So far, it is holding up well. I'm bringing the rating star up to 4. Will update once at around 6m or whenever necessary.09/17/2020: It's nearly 4 week since I installed the replacement. The replacement battery works great and holding up well. I'm going to give this 5 stars. Again will provide update at around 6m.

Used this to revive an older 2012 MacBook Air that had a worn-out battery that would shut off the computer unexpectedly even when the on-screen battery meter showed charge was left.After removing the bottom cover of the laptop, the old battery came out easily, not glue or anything to remove. The new battery fit in perfectly, requiring only a bit of jiggling to get everything in place so the battery connector would line up.The battery restored reliable function to the laptop and allowed unplugged usage again. I have not done formal testing on battery life but it's been reliable enough and given enough battery life for normal usage. I've had it in about 6 months and it hasn't shown signs of weakening yet.

I'd had the "service battery" signal on my MacBook Air for like 9 months. My computer would shut down when the battery reached 87%, and I had to have it always plugged in. I lived in a remote area, far from any Apple store or even anyone "certified" to work on Apple products. I was under the impression you HAD to bring your Air to an repair place or to Apple to have the battery replaced because it's internal. What a scam! I love my computer but really dislike Apple's ever-evolving insidious ploys to make consumers dependent on purchasing parts and services exclusively through them or their subsidiaries. I finally moved to a real town but am still 2 hours from an Apple store, so thought maybe Best Buy or the local computer repair place could replace the battery for me. Best Buy said they'd need to send it out for three weeks, and the repair shop said they would keep it for a week while they waited for the part to come in. Now that I understand how easy it is to replace this battery, I can't believe anyone would pay for more than the part and be without their computer for that long for a job that takes 20 minutes. Who can be without their computer for three weeks in a pandemic?!OK, narrative portion complete, onto review. I watched the tutorial for replacing the battery on iFixit. This comes with the screwdrivers you need, and you really don't need anything else, so if you're considering buying that company's kit, you really don't need to pay the extra $30. I flipped over some flat square fridge magnets to keep track of the screws. IT'S SO EASY. It takes 20 minutes TOPS. Then I followed instructions for recalibrating the computer to the new battery-- or whatever that is. I charged it to 100%, then unplugged it and let it drain to zero. Left it like that for five hours, then charged up again. If you're like me and reading reviews thinking, "Oh sure, it's probably easy for computer savvy techies, but will I, an average computer user, be successful in this endeavor, or will I royally and irrevocably screw up my very necessary and expensive laptop?" you should know that I am NOT a tech person by any means and this was so easy; I cannot believe I considered paying $129-$200 and being without my computer for so long for such an easy fix. Great battery life now. I can't rate longevity yet since it's only been a few days. I'll update as needed. If you're considering this, do yourself a favor, save the time and money, and just go for it. Take the $80 - $150 you saved and TREAT YOURSELF. You'll have done your wallet some good AND you'll get to feel all clever and superior to the plebes who think they need Apple "geniuses" to replace a battery. Damn the man! You got this!One year update: still going strong! The battery still lasts a solid 6-8 hours depending on how much I've going on in my tabs (usually a lot). Do it!

WELL, the install went perfect until i had a issue with slow responses and a fan that was loud and constantly on?Also noticed it wouldn't even charge.So back to uninstalling and thinking of returning the battery because I thought it may be the wrong battery? upon taking it appart again , I noticed a connector to the fan was disconnected!!!!!So that was my issue. Well its only been a day, but the laptop is running stellar, just had to Do some resets some settings and passwords. too early to review charge times, but 100% better with this new battery.Satisfied customer. Apple wanted 200$ 1-2 week wait etc. for a 15 minute fix lol.

Me llego a los 2 días, fue muy fácil de instalar, procuren conectarla antes de atornillar porque el cable viene un poco duro y para prevenir inconvenientes no lo doblen tanto. Mi Mac ya no se caliente, está trabajando rápido.

Bought this a couple of months ago now and it is going strong. All Day Battery life in my early 2015 model Macbook Air still running like the day I bought it now. Highly recommend - added a bit more weight but I could care less. Easy to install. Only gripe and this is some weird Apple thing. Once you put in a 3rd party battery it will no longer give you an estimate on how long until you need to recharge. Will still show you your battery just no estimated usage. So ridiculous Apple put that into their code.

After several years, my macbook air's battery needed an upgrade as the battery could no longer hold a charge. I ordered this product. The product arrived in under 3 days. The battery was packaged nicely and came with an additional keyboard cover which was a nice addition that I was not anticipating. The manual that came with the battery was quite clear and the screwdrivers worked perfectly and did not strip the screws. The battery fit snugly and was easy to install. After installation, the battery works seamlessly. I did not have to reset anything. I now have been using the battery for over a month, (25 cycles so far) and I am getting constantly 6-7 hours of battery life while doing heavy workflow (photoshop, fcpx, zoom etc.) and getting almost 10 hours while doing internet browsing and while using office apps. The product was just as expected and is working perfectly!
