I wanted clear shades to showcase Edison bulbs in a bathroom light fixture. I had some in mind that I bought for another bathroom 2 years ago so happy I did not find them! These shades remind me of antique glass( the old hand made glass is kind of wavy but crystal clear) I love them! They came very well packaged and are not thin or fragile. My bathroom is not finished yet, but I needed 2 for the bath and these come in a set of 5 so I just replaced the shades in the guest bedroom fan and replaced the bulbs with Edison's OMG so pretty with the lights off and with them on makes a kind of prism effect on the ceiling.

Excellent value for 6 glass shades! Fit my Westinghouse ceiling fans perfectly (the glass rim was slightly bigger than the originals but the fixture has enough room to accommodate the new ones). Bonus is that theses let out significantly more light than the old frosted ones and leave a nice "light pattern" on the ceiling. Only down side is that 5 of the 6 had price stickers and a few were very hard to remove - came out in +10 pieces. Take your time and remove them slowly to minimize residue.

These are great glass shades to replace the ugly ones turning yellow on my bathroom light fixture. However, one box came in with 4 good and 2 shattered. I was told to send it back and they sent me a new one...5 good and 1 shattered. It's getting better, but I don't have time to wait on 6 that are not broken. I sent an email and have not heard back in several days, therefore I am writing this review. I would be happy to send back the shattered one, that way I only need ONE replacement instead of trying to get an entire box not broken...

Package arrived well packed. However, after removing box of glass shades, you could tell there was breakage inside. All 6 shades are shoved together in a box with what is supposed to be bubble wrap. It was more like just plastic wrap you cover a bowl of food with! One shade was in pieces, one shade had a discolored blob in the glass. For me, these were not acceptable. Returned and chose a nicer product that arrived promptly and properly packed.

We replaced our tan light shades with this one, and the improvement was drastic. I love the light these shades emit so much. Great price, too.

Very nice replacement globes. Bought these along with new Edison lights and very happy with the purchase.

I repainted my 20 year ceiling fans, that work perfectly & added these antique- looking sconces to finish the look... they're perfect!
