Co-Pilot Limo EX-1 Disc Child Seat

Very well made

I loved the previous design that had orange/red seat pads and bar. It also had adjustable foot wells and spoke guards so the child's feet didn't go flailing all over the place. This seat does NOT have adjustable foot wells or spoke guards (the velcro straps that secure the child's feet to the seat). According to the warranty people, this is a newer model and doesn't come with them...so this description really needs to be revised.I'm returning it and buying an older model.

This seat is awesome! My daughter just turned 1yr old. She loves it. It reclines, I was hoping that she would fall asleep in it but she it too busy looking around. My husband attached the rack to my bike and popped on the seat. I'm so happy with this purchase!

My son is a small 18 month old and he is very comfortable in this seat. We will be able to use it for a VERY long time. The harness is easy to adjust and the lap bar easily fits over his head with his helmet on. The seat is light weight and easy to adjust.

Unless you have a quick release back tire, this will not install. I have a standard bolt back wheel, as does my husband (cruiser and mountain bike- both new) and we had to order a different rear rack than the seat came with to mount this to. The bolt wheel compatible rear rack was an additional $44.I haven't received that yet so I have no idea if the seat is worth the grand total of nearly $200 after the additional part. I went to two different bike shops- and I was told by both that this extra part was the only option, so its not something I am doing wrong.This is NOT made clear in the description, hence the 2 stars. When I actually install the seat I will review based on its performance.**A bolt back wheel is a normal wheel that requires a tool to come off, when you remove the bolt. A quick release wheel is when you have the little lever that you turn to loosen until you can easily pop the wheel out- my front wheel has this, as does my husbands- but not our back wheels. The seat installs by sliding onto a rack that goes over your back tire that installs onto the wheel base. The rack for the seat is made so that it will not install onto a bolt based tire- there isn't enough room. Just to hopefully be more clear. I wish I had known this.

My toddler loves it and is so comfy in it. Seems very safe. Looks good. The only issue we had was that the "universal" rack is not so universal, at least not for beach cruisers. We ended up having to order a new rack for $45! But at least the seat is great!

Poor quality product..... The CoPilot Limo bike seat is very poor quality plastic that breaks after only one year. The plastic "rear security latch" that holds the bike seat to the frame broke off and the seat can NOT be secured to the bike anymore. This bike seat is a throw away now because it's not covered by warranty and it can't be repaired. This is a huge liability issue when the "rear security latch" breaks while riding because this can cause the seat to fall off onto the road severely injuring or killing the child. This product should be recalled immediately.

seat is good quality and fits firmly on the supplied rack. we like the fact that the side were not open for the child to stick their arms out and it seems to hold the child very secure
