Nice Compact Breaker
I'm using this for an inverter and it's well made, compact, and does what it's supposed to do. A dead short does open the circuit. The max constant amps I can put on it using the inverter is 120 amps and has been doing that just fine. The fact that it can be used as a battery disconnect is nice as well. If it holds up, and I have no reason to think it won't, it is a great value.

Good and durable.
Used one of these for a high power electric skateboard that I use in college. I use it primarily as a on/ off switch, and have only ever run about 165 amps through it at one time (if the on board ammeter is accurate), so can't speak to it's "reusable fuse" capability. the thing has been in rain, snow, and from 90 degree wther down to 15 degree weather. Its worked for a couple years and is still going strong. It's mostly sheltered from the elements where it is, and I've never submerged it in water or anything like that, but has worked for my needs for quite some time. It's earned it's keep

A master electrician friend recommended this for my trolling motor set up. Easy to install and he said its doing exactly what it is supposed to do

Brittle cheap plastic
Mounting holes both broke while mounting. Barely tightened.

Misrepresented or just plain old poor quality.
I'm not sure if any of the reviewers of the 250 Amp model (or any other size) of this brand of circuit breaker are actually testing the capacity of these breakers. I'm pretty sure most are not. I also do not test as I don't have the test equipment so I have to take the manufacturers word about the stated capacity. Well as it turned out, this circuit breaker (250 Amp) failed me during its first use. I was running an appliance through a pure sine wave inverter that was drawing about 100 amps using 12 VDC. My wiring is capable of in excess of 300 amps without issue. Everything was going well but after about 10 minutes, the breaker tripped. It took about 5 minutes before I could reset it. I'm not sure what is going on here. Is this breaker truly a 250 amp breaker, is it a 100 amp breaker or is it just a poor quality 250 amp breaker? Either way, when someone choses to put a circuit breaker in their circuit, there is an expectation of proper performance to either deliver proper functioning of the circuit and/or protection of the circuit from dangerous situations. This breaker did not perform as expected. Returned for a refund!

Trips at 64-65 amps
Good for a kill switch, but the breaker trips at around 64amps, not 80 amps as stated.Bought 4 of them. All the same tripping out at around 64-65 amps.Using them for something else as a kill switch.Ordered the 100amp assuming it will kick out around 85 amps. Will See how those work.

Went off even before hitting 200 amps
Low quality product. Breaker goes off before 200 amps is reached even under intermittent use. It was popping constantly. The breaker even feels cheap cheap plastic very lightweight Construction particularly compared to theGLOSO 200A BreakerThat I purchased to replace this one.

Don’t come close to rated amp rating. Stay away!!!
I bought this 48v 80a to break for my 24v 1500w peak 3000w inverter. Installation was easy enough. However it keeps breaking the circuit at 65a-70a. I was only able to use up to 1300w. Can’t return it because I missed 30 days deadline. Bought the 100a breaker and it breaks at 80a. Stay away. They can’t do the job at the rated amps.

works!
I'm not sure if 250 amp is overkill. I connected my 1500 watt inverter with 1/0 wires and I've never tripped this breaker yet. I have overloaded the inverter and made it shut off, but the breaker never tripped.
