The first thing you need to know is that these are exactly 7.5", require adjustments, and ship from China. I'm doubtful these are gold plated or stainless steel and am concerned about lead. I'm a former lifeguard and know the importance of being able to quickly locate and identify medical ID information. Much of it these days resembles jewelry which is dangerous because it can be easily overlooked during an emergency.FIT AND COMFORT: The title is misleading because there is no 8" option. I ordered the double set and both are exactly 7.5" which is too small for me. These felt like having a handcuff on my wrist. Not that I'd know. They are not secure and come apart easily, but a pair of pliers can fix that. You can put it on with one hand - just pinch the sides and it pops apart. ENGRAVING: Mine was a bit complicated but all information was correct. I only had the underside done in order to conceal personal information.BONUS ITEMS: The drawstring bags weren't great and had a terrible chemical smell. The medical cards were flimsy. TIP: If it doesn't fit or feel comfortable, you can still use the plate. Bead stores sell stainless steel chain and they'll tell you how to attach it. You can also use 2mm leather cord and do a double slip knot bracelet in a neutral color. Bought this after I had a port a cath put in. Great bracelet but the only thing is that it scratches your wrist a little. I had to do some readjustments with a plier. I always have it on. And it has never rusted so far.

This medical bracelet was much better than I expected for the cost. It gave more area for engraved information, 3 lines on the front and 3 lines on the inside. Its a nice size for a woman's wrist, not too big or bold. The engraving is not black but clearly readable, which is fine so everyone can't just read my issues. Easy to put on. It ships directly from China but did not long. Very satisfied with this product and the seller.

This bracelet is worth the wait (about 2.5 weeks). It's beautiful and good quality for an Emergency Alert bracelet. Our soon to be teen needed an alert bracelet but everything we looked at was unattractive. Even though it's a bangle and more "dressy," the message is clear to see and read and will work in an emergency situation. It's true to size so make sure you order the correct length or size. We did order a slightly larger size so that the bracelet would dangle a little and be more comfortable for our daughter. How the bracelet sits on the arm is subjective. Some want a snug fit, others don't. The bangle completely opens from the side so there is no issue with the bracelet going over the fist. It came in a cloth pouch for protection. We are happy with the purchase.

This is a beautiful, delicate bracelet - I get so many compliments on it. I had it engraved on the back side for privacy, but it very legible. Most people don’t even realize it’s a medical ID bracelet at first glance; that being said, I’ve been told by EMT friends that it’s easily recognizable enough to alert a medical professional of your needs.The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because the beautiful rose gold color rubbed off in the first few weeks of wear. I think this is largely due to the fact that I wear nitrile gloves all day at work and wash my hands frequently, but it will likely turn to yellow gold with time regardless.I reached out to the seller to ask if this was a common issue and they immediately responded and offered to send a replacement in silver free of charge. This was above and beyond what I expected and the silver has been more durable (though the yellow gold has grown on me and I wear that one sometimes too). I would absolutely buy from VNOX again!

I've had this for 3 months now. I ordered it after having an anaphylactic reaction in the ER. I never take it off. I've showered with it and slept with it on. It's still readable, hasn't faded or worn down. It's hooking mechanism makes out almost impossible to acidentally fall off and really very comfortable to wear. It doesn't press into your wrist in any one area too much.I was also a bit sceptical of buying one online because I have a nickel allergy and also can't wear any metal unless it's stainless steel, silver, or mostly pure gold. Anything else causes dermatitis and something in my body chemistry eats off any "plating" it may have. I figured the price made the risk worth it though. In truth, I'm glad I did! It's clearly not plated and I haven't had a single issue with it.Only con is the more you have printed on it, the harder it might be for some to read, since it's smally etched in thin lettering. Still, you can't miss the medic alert symbol. So, it's still a great value for the price.

I am very pleased with the quality of the bracelet. It is attractive and simple, and does the job I need it to do. Appreciate that it can be engraved on the reverse. I left the front blank (no need for everyone that sees my wrist to know my allergy) and had the information placed on the back. My only issue is that there is only one size offered. This fits me like a bangle, with lots of extra space. I can easily slide it over my hand to put it on. It's fine for wearing around, I guess, but as a medical bracelet I want to wear it all the time. It's super-annoying to run with it because it slides up and down, up and down, up and down, AHHHH! I'd like to be able to order it in a smaller size, and the lack of choice in that arena and the limits it places on utility for me as a result lost a star.

Edit: different from what I wrote below, I actually did loose the bracelet. Since it got quite some personal info on this, I'll buy a bracelet now that cannot fall off! It was a lovely bracelet, though!! I took off one star.To be honest, I was slightly suspicious of this bracelet. For a large part this is because I don't particularly like bracelets and I thought it would be uncomfortable as it isn't tight around the wrist. It is actually not taking up a lot of space and the bracelet itself is so thin (and properly sanded) that I barely feel it. The medical part - the reason I bought it - is quite subtle, not 'in your face' at all - but still visible enough (what the purpose is re an accident etc). Someone else mentioned they had to tighten it so it wouldn't unlock, but I cannot imagine that happening. It locks pretty tightly, I have to put an effort into opening/closing it (with one hand) - although it is definitely doable. It is so comfortable, I'll wear it 24/7, except for martial arts training (obvs).Note: I got all the most emergency sensitive information engraved on the outside, but all the more privacy sensitive information (e.g. NHS number, name etc) on the inside so that people on the tube wouldn't be able to read it. I have a lot of medical stuff and needed the three lines on the outside as well as the inside, but it still sufficiently readable for someone with sufficient vision.My only concern might be that the engraving can get dirty, so I'll have to think about a way to clean that properly. Maybe bleach it once in a while or so.I'd definitely get other products from this sender. They were very kind when I approached them re the engraving as well.All in all: I feel more safe now I've this around my arm, and in a way I even think it is pretty. Why not wear one's medical stuff with pride!

Easy to put on and does not have to be removed for showers, housework etc. Had to get a. new one as my drug had been changed. Old one still in perfect order two years on. Engraving excellent and easily readable.

I love this, it’s clean and simple. I wear it with other bracelets it looks just like a piece of jewellery, but whilst it blends in it’s still visible should it need to be seen.

The bracelet is very subtle and really good quality. The engraving is easy to read, but as it`s grey, it is not standing out too much. I was worried about the clasp as my wrist is quite small even for the smaller size, but it is secure and the bracelet is comfy to wear. The package arrived super quickly, took about 2 weeks from placing the order!

Lovely bracelet that fits well, was worried that the clasp would come undone when wearing but it's really secure. Engraving lovely and communication throughout purchase very good. Would recommend and will be back for a gold one.! Searching high and low for one that looks right ... This is the one.
