Overall, I like this cover. I have three dogs that are capable of doing lots of collateral damage on my MB Air. From hair shedding, to spilling one of my beverages, to sticking an unwanted muddy paw on the keyboard. I like this shieldbecause it covers the whole surface...the keyboard and the trackpad area below it.My only complaint, and it's not that huge overall, is that, because the cover covers the two speakers on each side of the keyboard, sometimes sounds will vibrate and distort. I'm not sure what can be done about it, but so far that's my only complaint.

After just spending hundreds to fix my son's MAC after a water accident- this is great to have. We both have covers for the key boards- but this should save the track pad. I'm going to order one for mine. It's a different size and they are made to fit.
