The tortoise shell appearance is very nice. However the opening for the tissues is either not large enough or possibly is not smooth enough to allow for easy pull of the tissues. The opening does feel rough but I don't want to sand it and risk changing the color/look of the product. I will keep it but it would be a better product if the opening allowed for easier tissue pull.

In the photo, this item looks like it's a lovely wood grain. Somewhat disappointed to find out it's a see-thru plastic. The print of the tissue box shows through it. Serviceable, but not crazy about it.

Yes you can see the Kleenex box thru it. I just turned the box till the side that show least was in the "front".

The box does not look anything like the one pictured The one I received is a solid brown color and does not have the interesting swirls of color. It is not attractive.

It's beautiful and very handy. So nice to reach for a tissue and not pull up the box in the process!

meh, rather cheap looking plastic.picture makes it look more like wood, but in person, not too nice. regret I didnt order a nicer bamboo one now

Looks exactly like the picture and looks good in the bathroom. The only issue is the basket you can see the trash inside but other than that great price and looks just like it is pictured.

the items were very light and cheap looking. sorry to say this as they looked so elegant on the photos so just be aware.
