I love the Koleas and look for them in my backyard every year. Marion's book includes information that will enchant others to want a chance to glimpse this magnificent bird, also. Highly recommended for bird lovers everywhere!

Great book about an interesting bird. We have lots of them in our yard, and really enjoy watching them.

This is an excellent book. I love both the text and the illustrations. One of its excellent features is a bit of supplemental information at the end about the kolea for those who want to know more about this iconic bird (one of the few familiar native birds often seen in Hawaii).
