Definitely worth the money, this kit saved me alot of trouble when I did my timing chains on my car. The only trouble I ran into was with the exhaust camshaft gear hold down, im not sure if it was a bad design by vw, or a bad design for the hold down to keep the cam gear in place, but I couldnt use the hold down with the chain and guide in place. Aside from that though, this kit is great

Descent kit. But I would recommend the kit that has all the tools. The crankshaft holder and the exhaust cam spacing tools too. Better value. They are not the best tools in your toolbox but mine got the job done.

First time ever changing a timing chain. This was on an AudiA4 turbo. Lots of work to get to, but once I removed the radiator and front assembly, I was very anxious I would be missing a tool. No way this would fit as expected I was thinking. We’ll, I was wrong. Worked and fit perfectly. Put car back together and everything worked amazingly fine.

I bought a small one. But i use only camshaft lockers from it. Great tool for cheap.

I use these everyday at work, gets the job done. The retaining clips are useless but that's the only thing I can complain about. Worth every penny still.
