Asilin Ultra Sharp Stainless Steel Julienne Peeler Vegetable Peeler

I received my peeler in the mail last Friday, upon opening the package I realized it was much better quality than I had originally expected. It peeled and sliced through the carrots and potatoes that I was preparing for dinner with ease. It has a very ergonomic handle and it was very easy to clean. You have to be careful with it though as it is extremely sharp! I am please to have recieved this item at a discount in return for an honest opinion. Overall it's an amazing product so far and I'm looking forward to all of the great ways that it can be used. I would defiantly recommend this item to anyone in the market to make meal prep a little easier.

Great set of slicers.... Very good quality.... And boy can they slice very well... I have been needing slicers for the fruits that we have at home and got these to try and they are spot on and they do the job right....

As to be expected they get the skin off of potatoes ;-)

Mine broke the 2nd time I used it. The metal blade on one side just snapped in two. So, not a positive experience.

These is really a nice pair of kitchen "gadgets". They are stainless steel and are very sharp. They feel like that are quality made, not like those dollar store ones you get that barely cut and feel cheap in your hands. The peeler cuts the skin off of potatoes so that you don't actually lose the potato. It pretty much just clears the skin in a thin layer. It requires so much less effort than I'm used to putting into peeling the skin off potatoes. The shredder also worked just as smoothly. My husband likes to make homemade french fries (almost like home fries) but makes them much thinner than traditional fries. After the skin was cut off with the peeler he was able to use the other one to make his thin fries. It cut them smoothly and it was easy to make them all relatively close in size making them cook more evenly. Every kitchen needs these! I was so impressed with the quality of these! Just the way they feel in your hand is impressive. They are made of sturdy stainless steel and don't feel like they are just going to snap or break like some of the cheap ones do. The sharpness of the blades is incredible as well, I have no doubt that I will be able to use these over and over again and still get the same quality as the first time I used them. They are incredibly sharp! They even have different sides on the one tool so that you can use it for different peeling techniques and styles. Between both these tools I have everything I would ever need for anything that will ever need peeling.Purchased for the intent of review

I love my new peeler, it's dual action stainless steel blades are the bomb! One thing I enjoy is for my vegetables to be sliced evenly whether thick or thin, as long as their uniform. I hate to see half of a cucumber slice laying there with whole ones. With this dual action peeler you can slice up,down, sideways...it works! It has an easy grip handle that even seems to fit my daughter's hand! (HAHA) It's great for slicing your vegetables without leaving a gash in them or a chunk missing. As you slice your veggies, you can see and feel how smooth the blades goes right thru anything you want to slice. Cleaning/skinning vegetables are a pain in the hand so to speak, not so much with this great gadget! It removed the skin off of carrots in double time. I am so pleased with this amazing kitchen tool, I will not be throwing it away or purchasing generics again!
