Lovely book well worth the money I bought it for my husband he loves it was amazing all the beautiful paintings in there

This is an amazing and quite unique collection of the most fascinating photographs, compilled together in 260 pages. Many are double-spread or part-spread size resulting in very large images. However, two subjects are double this size as they involve fold-out images. This means a total size of 160 cm x 33 cm ; Serengeti National Park, Tanzania is one of these huge images. I can't recommend this book too highly. Buy it as you won't be disappointed. Literally hours of enjoyment can arise out of it as you are enthralled and engrossed in admiring and studying its images, and Stephen Wilkes' skills of seeing, capturing and selectively digitally editing his images. (As many as 1,500 single images of a single place captured for up to 36 hours). He is indeed a remarkable photographer and this is a truly remarkable book to treasure for ever!

AMAZING!!

What a book!! Amazing, breathtaking pictures. In every picture you see the work and dedication transformed in a picture that will keep on giving!! Every time you look at it you see different things happening. Everyone who likes photography (no matter what kind) should buy it, own it, give it to the people they like: it will not disappoint. Life itself in a beautiful, quite a big (format) book, but the size is equal to the content.

Massive book too big to be a coffee table book - it's as big as the table!Beautiful images but I feel some of the colour filters make them gaudy technicolour reminiscent of the 70sThe information is all in German and I am not sure if it is a defect with my cope but every single picture blurb print is graduated faded so is illegible. The factors make it a disappointment - especially as I saved up to treat myself as a fan of Stephen Wilkes and follower on social media for a long time

I saw this book at a museum, of course a much higher price. Happy to have the discount as a birthday gift for my husband—even tough I am the pixel surgeon in the family. The art inspired my to create a series of multiple image composites in a style I usually don't work in. Fabulous amount of technical work in Mr. Wilkes book, much to be admired by pros and amateurs alike and for extended enjoyment by anyone simply interested in iconic places in literally a new light.

Wunderschöne Fotos, zusammengefügt mit einer eindrucksvollen Technik, ein Kunstwerk, welches man sich immer wieder angucken an! Einfach toll!
