Good strain relief product.
I used this on a cord set rebuild of a 50 year old drill and worked very good.

Thick enough to be trimmed
I found it to be pretty difficult to find exactly what I needed to fit my 50 year old drill. I ordered this one because it looked close to the size I needed however it was too thick. That was a blessing because I was able to take a little off at a time with my Dremel tool until I got it down to the size I needed. The inside hole fit the new cord but the outside diameter was too big until I trimmed it down. I used a box cutter to trim a groove in it at the exit point and that allowed me to not have to keep trimming the rest of the boot, so it’s larger just outside of the drill handle. For a few dollars it worked well.

Hard to find
Replaced the boot on my chop saw. These are hard to find and it is not worth for me going from store to store to find one.

Very heavy and thick. not very flexible.
Very thick/heavy duty for standard tool cords. Will not fit some tools without cutting down the head end to fit in a tool body. Not flexible enough.. This will probably cause the cord to wear out at the end of the boot. Pretty expensive! Save your money and use 2 telescoped layers of heat-shrink.. Tapered, ie, not shrunk inside the tool handle, just the cord end.

Old is new
Great replacement for the original. However. it's a little thicker than what my Skill saw had. Skill unfortunately, has been one of those companies with hundred and hundreds of models. Very few of them are ever supported after 10yrs or so. I have a commercial Skill saw with ball bearings that just won't die. The power cord has been NLA since the time it went bad. Once the saw body clamped down on this boot tightly, there was a little gap due to the boot thickness. But the more I use the saw, the less the gap is....I figure one afternoon out in the hot sun and it will be perfect. Look to my other reviews to see what I did about the cord.

HEAVY DUTY
This is an industrial grade boot. It's twice the quality of the original. If I have any complaints it would be that it's so long. I had it all installed before I realized the length of it made it somewhat cumbersome to put the saw back in the case. I had to bend it around to get the cord to fit in the box enough to close the lid. Knowing this now, I would cut an inch off the length of it first. I believe that would solve the problem. With that said, I'd buy another one if I needed to. But considering the quality of this, I'll think it'll be a while if ever.

Total Junk
This rubber boot/strain relief for power tool cord is complete and total trash. Just another example of China made garbage. The rubber is so rigid that it will not conform to the clamp ridges in my Craftsman skill saw. The rubber will not compress at all. If I tried to force it I would either break the handle on my saw or strip the screws. When I have tightened as much as I dare without breaking the handle there is still about a 1/4 gap between the two halve of the handle leaving the internal wiring exposed. To bad I had to give it a 1 star to be able to leave this review.

Too rigid
I did not want my cable to break at the spot where it comes out of my saw. That was the reason I bought this boot. It was suppose to make the cable more flexible. Not this boot. It is so rigid that the cable will break at a different spot - where it comes out of the boot. I do not really know if I install it after all.
