Design Toscano Themis, Blind Justice Bonded Marble Statue

Toscano products are always high quality, and this is no exception. It is bonded marble instead of molded resin, meaning that marble dust was added to the mix, giving it more weight and a finer appearance. The added weight is a bonus for small statues such as this, which otherwise would be prone to tipping over. Mine arrived in perfect condition and the gold paint is immaculate, giving a nice contrast to the solid white figure. It sits on a three inch base, which fit perfectly on my window ledge, along with two other statues with the same size base and approximate same height. Blind Justice sits in the center, balancing the other two ladies from Greek mythology.

This is a fantastic piece. The golden aspects are very well done - almost impeccable. There are no noticeable inconsistencies about the paint job itself. Also, the golden paint is, indeed, golden and not yellow. It is a little gaudy as real gold is not so shiny, but truly it does not detract from the essence of it. The bonded marble and resin is sturdy and looks fantastic. The price is great especially considering the nice golden paint.

Bought this for a gift for a lawyer friend. She’s beautiful and very detailed. I love the accents of the gold. She was packaged well and shipped without incident. I read prior reviews there is something confusing about putting her together; gave the heads up to my friend and she came together well. I really want to get one for me now.

This is the 5th product I purchase from Design Toscano and they never disappoint. I bought this as a gift for my husband and I can tell you this will make any lawyer incredibly happy. The meaning behind the statue represents the core values of justice or what it’s supposed to be but on top of that, the quality and looks of it is just mesmerizing.The details in gold and really beautiful.I highly recomend this product.

Purchased for my sister who just became a Commissioner. She loves it. Great size and wonderful detail. It is proudly displayed in her office. Protected from the cleaning crew 😀 I would say it is fragile and should be kept out of reach.
