Harris Pharma 5% Benzoyl Perox Wash, 8 Ounce

Recommended by a dermatologist, and I've been depended on this for literal years, still am. After I cleared up a terrible acne ordeal, this is one of the staples that continues to benefit even after you’re cleared up. What this does is clean your inner pours. First, wash your face with soap & warm water, clear that oil & open pours. Plaster some of Benzol on, & leave it for a few minutes. Wash off & use OIL-FREE lotion. People like me, have sensitive skin and soap itself is not enough to keep acne away. Using this method, morning & night, keep’s acne away, basically forever. In terms of face wash, this is mandatory. There is 1 major flaw. This can stain clothes. Stay shirtless in the bathroom until you’ve finished your face routine. That’s it.

Excelente producto

This was prescribed to me by my dermatologist as a daily face wash in the morning, and I had to use a pea sized amount for my whole face. It is just so AMAZING in so many ways, and is the best benzoyl peroxide face wash I've ever used. This is why I came back to it and found it on Amazon to purchase again since I found that nothing has ever worked as well as this. It has a nice, silky creamy texture, its got some MICRO MICRO itty-bitty exfoliator pieces which are so tiny that I can hardly call them exfoliators since its so gentle, and its SO MUCH LESS DRYING than SO MANY OTHER benzoyl peroxide face washes I've tried. But it's still a must to apply moisturizer afterwards, since benzoyl peroxide is a universally drying ingredient in acne control no matter what. But again, it works so well and is one of the only bp face washes that I actually saw crazy good results from, after continued use. I wish it was cheaper though!

I’m not sure why it wants a review for moisturizing. This is benzoyl peroxide wash, it is NOT moisturizing. I use this wash because I have cystic acne (big, hurt more, don’t show a white head) and it works to get rid of both acneic and cystic acne. Whereas face wash with so salicylic acid only works to get rid of acneic acne (small whiteheads). Always start with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide wash and you can eventually build up to 10% if needed which I use once a day as of now. Use a gentle exfoliate with this wash to get off dead skin. And always use some kind of water based moisturizer after (I like Dermalogica moisturizers). But back to this face wash it is my favorite benzoyl peroxide wash. I’ve tried Neutrogena and noticed I break out more when using it. This is also a really good price and delivered right to your door!! What’s better than that??
