Walker Edison Julian Rustic Farmhouse Lift Top Entry Bench with Bottom Rack, 48 Inch, Dark Walnut

This bench is very good quality and I ended up ordering two benches in error and eventually decided to gift the second one instead of return. It is the perfect size for an entry way and live the way the style fits my house!

I fell in love with this bench through the pictures online. I ordered the bench and it came quickly. My dad is a handyman and I grew up helping him with everything I could, from electrical wirings, floorings, furniture assembly, mounting, etc...so naturally, I didn't think twice about who would assemble this bench when it came. I loved how it looked in our new place, and the storage was amazing! Sadly, it lasted 3 full weeks before I needed to reach out to the support team for a replacement part.I do have to mention, their customer support is great, they we friendly, attentive, and quick to send me the replacement part without charge.The second time around I hired a professional to take the bench apart and then put it back together again because although I doubted it, maybe it was my fault the piece broke. It lasted a full week and a half and then the SAME exact spot busted.I wanted to reach out to their support team to see how we can resolve my frustration but upon doing research, their warranty is 30 days and because I purchased this bench one month prior to moving...it was in my old apartment for 3 weeks, still boxed.I really wanted to love this bench...I threw it out this afternoon, so sad.

Not sure about the low ratings. Everything lined up for me. I realized why the hinges are the way the are once you finish the last couple steps. Its a toggle to hold the door open so it won't close on you, your head. I'm also an engineer and know how to build things... and when to ask my wife to help me mate the door to the rest of the bench. Looks great, works great!(no, i did not get paid or discounted for writing this review -.-)

I got this after being tired of having a pile of shoes next to my door when I have visitors or even my own shoes just laying there.Being disabled I also wanted a place where I could easily put on my shoes and take them off without having to take them to the couch or my dining room chairs.It’s cute, sturdy, easy to put together, and has so much space! It took me about two hours to put together and it went smoothly. I’m able to fit three blankets, my air bed, and the thing that blows it up! And I can fit quite a bit of shoes, I’m keeping one pair I often use and keeping the space for guests. Would highly recommend and would get again!

This product is a great value for the cost. It's very sturdy and I love the fip lid for storage.I was able to fit about 6 pairs of size 8 shoes in there. On the bottom shelf I was able to fit about 5 pairs of men's size 12. The only little issue we had was assembly. The two pieces of wood that go on the inside of bench with predrilled holes for the hinges were not labeled properly. After we put the whole thing together we noticed the holes for the hidges were on the opposite side. We would have had to take the whole thing apart to flip it around. Instead my husband just drilled new holes for the hinges and it worked out just fine. I would highly recommend this product. It's beautiful!

So this thing was ok to assemble, and oddly enough the holes all lined up fine and parts were all there. The material; CHEAP pressed paper stuff. Not wood.The screws for the hinges just keep on turning, never tighten up. That's because they are going into "paper" wood. It's really really crappy quality material.For this kind of money, I wish I'd bought something from a garage sale that was made of wood. It "looks pretty" but if I actually use this bench, it will likely last a month.

The bench is great, once assembled. It's sturdy, beautiful, high quality, etc. However, my husband (who admittedly is not very handy) could not get it assembled. He couldn't get the legs attached using the cam locks no matter what he tried. He finally gave up and the next day my handy brother came over. He got it assembled right away by himself. So is it easy or difficult to assemble? Who knows...

I love this product. I actually use it as a coffee table because I have a small apartment and I wanted something with storage and a place to put games underneath. This was a perfect find. It is a great size and wonderful quality. The only thing is it took me a really long time to put it together. The directions weren't the greatest. I actually had to take it apart at one point because I had a piece of good flipped (I would pay attention to where the small holes are for the screws. They are hard to see!) But overall, I absolutely love it! Its a wonderful prices for the quality and style.

The colour

It was a bit of a wait to receive this bench, but worth it! The instructions were the best I have ever seen for a piece of furniture. Every piece was clearly marked and the assembly instructions were wonderful.It is a very sturdy bench, perfect for our front entrance.

Love the bench. I like that it has a storage place fir mitts and hats. The only thing I don’t like is the room at the bottom for boots is not high enough

The lid was very hard to open and in less than 4 months the ‘wood’ broke off at the hinges.I do not feel this product is sturdy or worth the money.
