These are nice quality shoes - they are well made, have good thick soles, and grip well in all weather (tested in all normal UK weather conditions, including snow and ice).As others have said, the laces need to be double-tied so they stay done up. If you don't like that, replace the laces!I believe that they are more waterproof than most 'waterproof' shoes - I didn't ever get home from walking the dog with wet feet.They are quite warm to wear - I'm not sure they have much breathability.They are sturdy and don't have a lot of flex movement; I guess that would ease with wear.But...Unfortunately, they are just too tight for me. They fit the length of my feet ok but they are too tight across my toes, and every time I wear them for a few hours I end up with either blisters or painful feet from the restriction. I do not wear wide-fit shoes so I was not expecting this.I persevered with the shoes for several months because I like the style and the fact they are actually waterproof, but in the end, I had to give up on them and give them to charity. I hope someone else enjoys wearing them as I cannot abuse my feet any longer.

i brought a size 5 one larger then i normally wear and have had no problem at all. i am happy so far.

This is my 3rd pair of these shoes as they fit me well. Comfortable and hard-wearing.

Shoes would be great except they had obviously been opened before as tag had been removed and was loose in box - also the wrapping around shoes was torn .What was worse was that i ordered a size 6 , one shoe was a 6 the other was a size 5 !.

For my first hicking shoe overall good shoes, did get wet so they are waterproof, walked all they with them did arround 12miles no aches and pains quite comfortable, just got worried at one point that got quite slippery on wet road, but all and all was good. Ohh another thing they are pink.

I've had a pair of these for several years and with the bad weather have been trying to dry my shoes out between walks. So a second pair was needed. They are comfy and fit well and so far seem to be as waterproof as any other walking style shoe. A good replacement pair.*Have since got another pair as my old shoes have split slightly. Decent price, but probably wouldn't pay the £100 from Regatta store. For £40-£60, they do what I want*Sadly, the quality is not what it used to be. The old shoes I had lasted 5 or more years. These I have worn daily since Feb 2021 (for dog walks on mostly flat terrain - no rocky/tricky terrain) and the edge has split open (across the seam along the edge of the toe box). It's obviously a weak area as my original pair split here too but took 5 years to break. These have lasted just 7 months.*
