Why did you pick this product vs others?: Vitamin C has been shown to increase the absorption of Levothyroxine, a supplement for people’s with an underactive thyroid that can’t produce enough hormones. I seemed to be having some luck with the Best Natural’s brand of Vitamin C powder. However, when I reordered, the next order tasted like it had solvent in it. So, I threw out the entire canister, figured out that my Vitamin C tablets were worthless as even without a thyroid test I could tell that it wasn’t helping, and then I tried this brand. And I’m glad that I did. First, this has a mild flavor. It’s more like drink water than trying to drink unsweetened Tang. So, day after day, I can take this and not grimace every time I have to take a swallow. Another plus is that it dissolves easily, almost instantly. A few shakes or stirs and it’s in. With the Best Naturals brand, I had to shake it for about a minute to get it dissolved. Also, I found that with the other brand that I had to talk half the dosage to prevent stomach upset whereas with this one, I can add two scoops in 16 oz of water and it does not bother me. (This makes me wonder if there is a correlation between being easy to dissolve and being easy to absorb and if this is a sign of a higher efficacy vitamin C powder…) I was also concerned about whether it would work with Levothyroxine. Like the other brand of Vitamin C powder, it seems to help. My hypothyroid symptoms once again vanished when I switched from Vitamin C tablets. But the test results were the clincher. Now, I am doing lifestyle changes to reduce inflammation and taking liposomal vitamin C with Citrus Bioflavoids in low doses throughout the day, so I can’t say whether this is due to this supplement only but now my TSH levels went from above normal to the low side of the normal range. And I’m happy that this Vitamin is part of my health care regime. If you are looking for pure, high quality vitamin C that is effective, is easy to dissolve, and is nearly tasteless, I recommend trying this brand.

One of my gluten free bread recipes called for Ascorbic acid powder. I never baked with it so I was a little worried how it's going to come out. We'll it was perfect and delicious and the bonus is, it is full of vitamin C.

I love Vitamin C. I bought this so I could take many grams a day, at least 10. It got rid of my persistently clogged sinuses that no lifestyle factors could abolish for years. My sinuses cleared up in a couple of weeks. I had another chronic infection that also would come and go be healed with the use of Vitamin C. And I bought this not even a month ago when my journey with vitamin C began. Look up Dr. Andrew Saul and his research on megadosing of Vitamin C. ****Only issue*** (and a big one): Dont drink the Vitamin C straight mixed in water or any other beverage unless you are adding baking soda to offset the acidity beforehand. Vitamin C erodes the teeth. It is very sour and has a very low pH. It is good for the gums and gum health but I would recommend putting the vitamin C in capsules and swallowing it to avoid tooth contact OR drinking the vitamin C with a straw which is not as much of a safe bet OR adding in baking soda to raise the pH to at least above 5.5 so that no damage is done to the dentition. I have some sensitivity in my teeth after drinking the vitamin C and I like my teeth and I want to keep them, thanks. Other than that, best value for your money. Not made in China so less worry about heavy metal exposure. All in all a great deal!

I get sick pretty often and benefit from taking vitamin C. I used to use a different brand of vitamin C CAPSULES but they seemed to be out of stock often. The other brand I used to use was also pretty pricey BECAUSE they were in capsules but I figured since Vitamin C doesn’t taste horrible I might as well get the powder. I do feel like it helps with my immunity because I go from feeling sick every other week to feeling like a million bucks. I’ve noticed the following improvements in my life after taking this for awhile: - Better collagen production (example: hair, tendon, and skin health) - Not sick as often - Slight energy increase if taken in the morning - It could be placebo, but it feels like it aids in the bioavailability of my other vitamins I appreciate the fact that it’s not mixed with filler. There’s no odor, and the color is pure white. So there’s no artificial colors what so ever. I will continue to purchase this for the rest of my life.

This stuff is GREAT! Just a tiny little scoop that holds 1,000mg (1 gram) of Vitamin C. I put 4 level scoops of it in our glasses of iced tea, it gives a lemony flavor. Warning though, it's really sour, so for my tea I add sugar to taste to counter it, my husband likes it without the extra sugar. My uncle, a doctor, has taken 10,000+mg (10+ grams) of Vitamin C a day for years. It's a water soluble vitamin, so any extra C is eliminated through your urine, which is very good for your kidneys. Vitamin C is touted by experts as a miracle vitamin that can help fix all sorts of physical problems, but the tablets can be a pain. If you're a Vitamin C nut like I have become (since having serious kidney problems), drinking it in your drinks (including not just tea but any drink you choose) is a pleasant alternative to taking those bulky tablets or chewing the lozenges multiple times a day. I highly recommend this powdered version and am really happy I found it! This is my 2nd order, and I plan to keep on ordering it, I never want to run out. I’ve gone through my entire bottle and I love it! First of all, ascorbic acid neutralizes the chlorine found in tap water. I use 4-5 scoops in every bath and I have noticed a huge difference in the water quality. When running the bath my bathroom smells like a public pool, just riddled with chlorine. After a couple of scoops the chlorine smell completely evaporates! I’ve also noticed a huge improvement in my skin and hair. Both are noticeably healthier. I also use it when I make coffee or tea with tap water. Not only does it neutralize the chlorine but then you also benefit from the vitamins and you cannot taste it over the coffee flavor. Highly recommend.

Works great for our well water. We always struggle with high amount of iron in well water, we couldn't use well water for the pool.Since I find out that vitamin c neutralizes iron in the water I give it try and works great! Also my wife said works great for cleaning our bathroom as well.

It has a slightly sour taste and is a brewed type. Therefore it is quite difficult to eat.

小分けにして飲みやすいのでパウダータイプにしました。薄めればそれ程飲みづらく無いように思います。付属スプーンの半分を500mlくらいの水で溶いて午前中に、後の半分くらいを午後からちょっとずつ飲んでいます。個人的にビタミンCを抜くと肌荒れし出すので、食事であまり取れていないのだろうと思うので、小分けで飲めるパウダータイプのサプリメントはありがたいです。非遺伝子組み換えなのも良いです。リピすると思います。
