Excellent external DVD
This external DVD drive is easy to use with my laptop and has worked perfectly from the very start. Installation was simple: I just plugged it in, and the computer recognized it immediately. It reads and burns discs quickly and without errors. I like that it is lightweight, compact, and easy to carry. Plus, it has USB connectivity, making it compatible with various devices. The quality is very good.

Works Great, Compact Design!
I use a 2021 Macbook Air, currently running Tahoe 26.5. I plugged this in and my computer recognized it as soon as I had a disc in. It's super easy to use; my computer apparently has a built-in dvd player, so I didn't even have to download anything or do anything complicate. I also LOVE that there's a cutout in the bottom of the player to neatly store the cord when it's not in use, making it VERY easy to store and very sleek. I love that so much.

GREAT PRODUCT EVEN BETTER PRICE
I purchased this product to rip my CDs and save them to my PC hard drive in order to give away my CDs and save space. The CD/DVD external drive worked well and ripped the CDs expediently and efficiently. The only negative remark is it was not well constructed and, after several uses the door on the Amicool drive was not aligning properly and difficult to close. THX

GREAT. I HAVE SO MANY CD'S OF PHOTOS FROM 2003/ 2006 BEFORE IPHONES AND I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO GET THEM OFF THE CD'S. MY LAPTOP WAS TOO SLOW TO DO IT. I BOUGHT THIS YESTERDAY . IT ARRIVED TODAY. PLUG INTO MY MAC, IT SAW IT. IT WORKED. I NOW HAVE PHOTOS ON MY MAC ISTEAD OF CD. PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

Easy to use. Does as it should
Did as it should! I bought a cd collection item, and I wanted to rip it to PC. Lol feels weird even saying that in 2026. My PC doesnt have a cd/dvd option to insert the disk. So bought this. Very straightforward. Plug it in and insert disk. I thought mine was broke at first cause I was trying to open it and put cd in while it wasn't plugged in - it needs power to open lol I repeat it needs to be plugged in and PC or laptop power on to open lol. It's slim, not too big. Plays easy and fine. No drivers needed. Plug and play!

Extremely pleased with this product. I have a 7 port USB hub. It works fine with an attachment to one of the ports. No need for a direct connection to USB port on PC. Easy to navigate. Great price !
