Works great - but choose a reliable vendor/shipper who's going to ship you all the parts!
This router was very easy to install and is small enough to fit the small space I have next to my cable box and modem, despite it being a horizontal version and not the vertical version of the product shown in the picture. I have an iPhone, iPad, laptop, and wireless DVD player that all connect to it wirelessly and so far so good. (I just hooked it up last night.) I had the same router (Belkin Wireless G) previously but when I did a hard power shut off of all my appliances hooked up to a power cord I think I blew that router out, thus having to buy this new one. However, that router had lasted me...6 years, at least, so I feel I got some good work out of it. I am taking off one star not for the product but for the packaging, which I'm assuming is from the vendor I bought it from and not Belkin. When I opened the, what looked like, brand new box I was shocked to find that they had not included 1) the user manual 2) the installation guide and 3) the easy install CD!!!! I looked in the box, in the few bits of cardboard the router comes in, in the shipping box, etc etc and these just were not there. Thankfully, I have done a few router installations in my time so between that, and looking up instructions on my iPhone (thanks to cellular service) I was able to do it the old-fashioned way. But for someone who would need to rely on using the guide/CD they would have had to return it and suffered the further delay in having internet, which, for me would have been a big deal because I often work from home.

Very Good After Tweaking
Pros: Good Speed, Good with p2p downloads after enabling AP, Good coverage in home.Cons: Had to change the default settings.Verdict: I recommend this and I will by it again. I can give 5 * after using for a month.Ordered for 20$ last week. Received it in 2 days. Used for 4 days, I like this now.First day it worked, but not so smooth internet browsing and not getting full 20 Mbps internet. Not able to browse internet while p2p downloads run.Contacted Belkin Care, Mr Ranjith Ramachandran and he helped to enable the Access point mode and new settings. It is working superb and close to 18Mbps with p2p and browsing.Solution:- Reset Router (optional, I did not do that)- Connect a computer to the Belkin router with an ethernet cable.- Log on to the router's web interface by typing in [...] in the address bar of the browser on a wired computer.- By default, the password is blank.- Click on "Use as access point" under "Wireless". .Check mark against "Enable".- You would find the "IP Address" as 192.168.2.254 and "Subnet Mask" as 255.255.255.0. Change the IP address to 192.168.15.100The page would disappear. Power cycle the access point. Now connect the ethernet cable from the first router to the second router (access point). Connect the cable to any one of the 4 LAN ports of the router. The WAN port of the router should be free once configured as an access point.

Great Router!
I really like this router. I recently bought a used router (without an installation cd) to replace one that got fried (which was a great router by the way). One it arrived, at first, I had a hard time setting up my secured home network on my Windows 7 computer. It wasn't accepting the PIN number that was on the bottom of my router. Come to find out, the previous owner(s) had changed the PIN number. If you purchase a used one of these, without software, and it won't accept the manufacturer's PIN, and you want to set it up without completely using the browser software that comes built-in the router (because you don't want your home secure network details to be anywhere on the web). Go to the browser web page directly from the router setting on your computer and act like you are going to set up a secure network. On that page (in the details) you will see the new PIN that the previous owner created. You can either keep that PIN or you can generate a new PIN. Whatever you choose to do, once you get that PIN or a new one, click out of the browser and go back to your own computer's network set-up and enter the new PIN. It should accept it and you can go from there. This method works for computers with Windows 7 and 8, that much I know.

Belkin Wireless G 4 port router
I recently purchased a Belkin G Wireless Router model F5D7324-4, 4-port wireless router. The 4 wired ports work effortlessly as with any router. The wireless is a bit tricky to set up if you're not tech savvy. It may require some fiddling with settings (using your browser to log into the router) or a call to Belkin Tech Support. The real downside of this router is that their tech support is obviously in India and can be VERY difficult to understand if you actually speak English.I used to run my own small computer business and I still had to call Belkin twice to get my girlfriend's wireless laptop connection to work seamlessly. The router ships with default settings for 128-bit security and if you're running XP like we are, it's only a 64-bit OS. Other than that, it's a great router. It's small, has a pleasant appearance, simple connections, good security and the wireless signal goes 100ft without any trouble. It's very reasonably priced and I recommend it to anyone since nearly any piece of technology you buy today will require a call to tech support to help set it up the first time; just be patient and make sure you can understand what they're saying!
