Fishmaster Original Leaning Post for Center Console Fishing Boats – Three Rocket Launcher Rod Holders, Rectractable Footrest, Flow Through Foam – White Upholstery/White Powder Coat

I was reluctant to purchase this because of the price as most leaning posts I've seen are 1K+. The item arrived 3 days earlier than promised. There were no assembly instructions included, but not too hard to figure out as there are only 5 pieces in the box. The stainless hardware it came with was adequate for the assembly, but I opted to substitute the floor mounting screws with 2 inch screws one size bigger. I also used 3M Marine Adhesive on the floor mounting screws and put a bead on the bottom of each side for added strength. It's solid as a rock and very comfortable. All pieces lined up as they should. I can't imagine a leaning post costing 2X the money would be 2X better. This is a perfect height for my 19" Center Console. Just high enough to see over the windshield, which is the same height you are when standing. I mounted the post 25" from the console. I would not hesitate to recommend this leaning post

well made. 90% easy assembly. impossible to use nylon washers provided for footrest. everything else was perfect.

Very well built and very study. I didnt use the screws that came with it for mounting, I put stainless bolts with stainless fender washers for extra support because I'm fat. I'd recommend this seat. I've had it several months and have no complaints.

Beautiful with the powder coat. Wish it had a back though. Put in my 22 ft boat.

Bought this for my 17ft Flats Boat becuse I hated having to sit on the cooler when driving. I bought this to replace that. I had an issue putting it together so I had to reach out to the company for the instructions. Katy was very quick to send me the link to the instructions. It's very sturdy and easily put together except for putting the seat on. 1 hole did not line up no matter what I did so I had to drill the frame hole a little bit. Other than that this was great. It even came with the mounting screws. I am very happy with the new addition to my boat.
