Edges are sharp so you need to sand/file them down. I put several coats of truck bed liner to blend into the bed. I wish they included another set of screws so you could attach twice at the wheel well area. I would prefer the option to drill, tap, and screw in a more removable bolt and that I can get tighter. The self tapping screws you have to go slow so as not to Over tighten which will lossen the grip of the screw. Sprayed screw heads with bed liner to help lock them in. Used in a 2016 f150 ford crew XLT 5.5 ft bed with spray in bed liner. I use them to store tool bag and emergency supplies wrapped in a trash bag to keep dry under a tonneau cover. I thought this better option then a more expensive swing out tool box. I did not get their cargo handler tool that goes in the notches. I did get another brand that had a shepards hook on end and option for snow/ice scrapper—which had its own mouting on side and did NOT fit well into the notches on these storage pockets but comes with its own way to mount to inside of bed wall.Update after a few months—-ford 2016 f150 aluminum bed—the self tapping screw pulled out on side close to tailgate, fix was to put stainless steel bolt and locking nut and put a plastic wall anchor in to prevent corrosion of different metals. Removed tail light to get behind to tighten bolt with washers. In general, like the concept just the execution of it needs work to get to five stars.

Tired of my small toolbox and other items sliding around in my truck bed. I purchased these truck bed pockets and installed them myself. Instead of using the supplied metal self tapping screws that were provided, I installed rivet nuts. Much cleaner installation!!! In addition to this, I was having my 2014 truck bed sprayed with Line-X and I had the pockets coated as well. This projected turned out so well, I could not be happier! I also purchased the EZ-RETRIEVER® II Cargo Reaching Tool, I think that this will come in handy!You could easily use an aftermarket truck bed spray on yours product as I'm sure that it would be less expensive, I just included it with my appointment.

Don’t seem to fit my new 2022 ram 1500 bighorn. The rear edge of the bed isn’t 90 degrees they changed it and put a curve to it if that makes sense. I can’t seem to get a foot place to set the screw as a result. Unless I’m missing something

What I like- Its strong and durable. It really makes good use of that spot behind the wheels. What I would improve- The self Taping screws don't work great so I replaced them with a better stainless self tapper. The raw metal edge on top will cut you so I added a plastic slip on edge which I recommend. Also the last one I bought came with the Cross Bar stop and picker which is great. This one I had to buy it extra and it was pricy with amazon although a good quality unit and length adjustable. KL

Simple and useful. Gas cans, propane tanks, tool boxes no longer shifting around the bed. The pockets it creates behind the wheel wells are great for small items.

Very close to being an excellent product. Prior to installing Storage Pockets, I sprayed them with truck bed coating and I covered the top of the Storage Pocket with rubber car door edge guards. While I drilled a hole near the tailgate to install the self-tapping screw, I didn’t want to drill into the wheel well portion of the truck bed, so I used silicone adhesive to secure the other end. I also mounted the Storage Pockets about one-inch above the truck bed mat so I can still remove the mat when necessary. Overall, I’m pleased with the product and the end result.

I ordered these for a full size Chevy truck with drop-in bed liner and topper. I sanded down the edges to give them a dull feel and finished them with a single can of cheap spray can bed liner. I opted to not use the included self tapping screws for the wheel well section of the installation. Instead I used stainless steel bolts, washers, and nuts to actually bolt them in securely. The storage pockets were a good idea and they work well. Now that wasted space in my truck is actually getting put to use. These are nice for trips to the grocery store and so on. Over the years I've had to crawl into the back of my trucks to retrieve an escaped two liter bottle of soda, jug of milk, and other grocery store items. Now they transport nicely within the storage pockets. This is a good upgrade that is very functional for the bed of a pickup truck.
