6225AT Touch Screen Color Changing Alarm Clock

Too hard to read at night and the light is so bright it kept me awake. It's sitting on a shelf in my closet.

Having not reading the complete instructions I found it had a lock on all functions if not touched for one minute. If you hold a button for 3 seconds it releases the lock. And it is still too light for one hand use. The instruction book is very complete and easy to understand. It is easy to set. Easy to program. The time,day and date is always showing. It has a switch on the back for a constant light which illuminates the edge but you don`t need it to read the time,day,alarm and date. It should have an on off switch for the lock out and a heavier base. The colors can make it hard to tell the time at night from a distance. The snooze button is a pain. It consists of 2 buttons on the bottom of the unit and you have to press real hard on the top of the unit to shut it off. The alarm has 2 loudness settings. Loud and extra loud. There are better choices for the same money. I`m keeping it as it is what I need and don`t need the alarm and it sits 2 feet away on my end table so can read the day,time and date from my chair.

THIS WAS PURCHASED FOR A FRIEND AND THEY LOVED THE ITEM IT WAS AN UPGRADE FROM A CLOCK THAT THEY HAD PURCHASED YEARS AGO AND I WAS ABLE TO FIND AND UPGRADE ON LINE FOR THEM

Touch screen completely broke and nothing worked on this unit, right out of the box. After a week of trying to figure it out I pressed just a tiny bit too hard trying to find a spot that worked on here and the screen fell right through the back.Chinese junk and should be avoided at all costs.
