Rösle - 16024 Stainless Steel Colander, 10-inch

Rosle Conical Colander Admittedly, I was a little leery about this being manufactured in China as someone already mentioned; however, it was designed and engineered in Germany, is manufactured to those very high standards, and this craftsmanship shows. This colander has met and exceeded all my expectations whereas, it is light; however, very durable and doesn't warp or discolor, and the Product Features & Details are spot on. I've used it primarily for sorting, washing, & draining beans, straining stocks & soups, draining water/stock from cooked potatoes, and straining washed fruits & vegetables before going into the food processor, and it works great, and cleans up easily & very nicely! I also really like the wider handles that let you rest them on the sides of a sink (if you only have one hand free), or across a bin for washing fruits & veggies. This highly polished, beautiful 18/10 Stainless Steel product is excellent quality, durable, food grade, non-leaching, corrosion resistant, and a safe metal alloy especially, when preparing, and handling cooked or heated food. Treat yourself or a loved one to higher quality, sustainable, reusable, beautiful product, and you won't regret it, other than why didn't you do it sooner! Hope that this helps.

One piece. Small bumps on bottom to raise from sink. Will make great steamer. Looks great hanging on wall. A little light. OK with made in China. Just wasted $26.00 on a made in America Toilet Seat "BEMIS". Not Whisper*Close parts BOLTS broken. Not universal. Didn't keep receipt. from Walmart. No parts available. Who screws up a toilet seat? I'll stick with China!

👍🏼👍🏼Two thumbs up! Rösle is my favorite stainless brand. This colander is fully stainless and there is no plastic parts at all.

When it comes to colanders, this one is very easy to clean, as it has no welded-on handles or feet to collect food. I have seen stainless steel colanders rust around welds when they haven't been passivated properly in manufacture. This colander is pressed from a single, heavy-gauge stainless steel sheet, and has no joins whatsoever. It doesn't collapse for shallow drawer storage like Rösle's newer models, but it will last a lifetime.

I struggled to spend so much on a simple colander, but considering how the cheap old one fell apart we decided to take the plunge. It's great - bigger than standard and super easy to clean with no rivets or joints. A truly beautiful and functional colander.

This isn’t made to work as a strainer that sits in the sink. It is so low that it’s basically touching the bottom. Poor execution.

Kwaliteit is prima, alleen… Er zit wat mij betreft een designfout in. De vergiet heeft geen echte pootjes. Als je de vergiet in de spoelbak zet om af te gieten loopt het water daardoor niet weg. Jammer, alle anderen producten die ik van Rösle heb zijn top. Qua vergiet raad ik WMF aan, daar hebben we die van Rösle voor ingeruild. Die heeft wel pootjes.

Me gustan mucho los escurridores de silicona de esta marca. El material es muy bueno, se cierran y no ocupan espacio. El tamaño es perfecto para colar pasta hasta unas 4 personas.Lo aconsejo.

Perfekt zum Abgießen von Nudeln oder zum Waschen von Gemüse. Für Reis ungeeignet !

This excellent stainless steel colander isn't collapsible! I knew that before ordering, and had reported it to Amazon months ago (Rösle do make collapsible colanders), but Amazon has failed to change the description. I'm completely happy with my purchase and with the delivery and with everything else about this transaction. But if you believed from Amazon's description that you were buying a collapsible colander, then you might not be.
