Works great! Includes Blue / White ZIF ribbon cable.
Arrived promptly and worked great for a Toshiba MK8009GAH 80GB 1.8" HDD taken from a broken HP Compaq 2710p convertible notebook. It comes with a blue (thicker end) / white (thinner end) ZIF ribbon cable, with the blue end already connected to the PCB ZIF fitting. A blue / blue LIF (sometimes also called ZIF) cable would have been too thick for this drive. Reviews for other cases which come with blue / blue cables talk about having to sand down the thickness of one end to make it fit in the drive. If you already purchased such a case, an alternative is to buy just a blue / white ZIF ribbon cable for use with your drive.Cable insertion is easy once you know what you are doing. The locking bar on these particular connectors does not slide, but rotates 90 degrees. Lift the locking bar up towards the cable, insert the cable, then push the locking bar down away from the cable. The case is black rubberized metal with a red plastic spacer. It includes a USB-A / mini-B cable from which it draws power, 4 foam pads for cushioning the drive if necessary, 10 tiny screws (2 more than you need), and a velvet carrying bag. Mine did not include a screwdriver. A #0 Phillips from a precision screwdriver set worked, but a slightly smaller Phillips drive from an eyeglass repair kit worked even better. An old screwdriver I had which came with a 2.5" external drive case was too big.

Doesn't work with Toshiba MK8009GAH 80GB 1.8" HDD
Another reviewer said this worked with Toshiba MK8009GAH 80GB 1.8" HDD, but mine didn't. The drive spins up, but as soon as my computer tries to write to it, the drive shuts down, indicating that this adaptor does not provide enough power for the drive to function fully. The 30GB version of the same Toshiba 1.8-inch drive family (MK3008) worked fine, although the LED access indicator didn't work at all.

It worked, but
I was able to pull the files out of my drive, which is what I needed. The connector cable was too long so I couldn't fold it and close the lid. I wouldn't be able to use my drive on the go, it has to stay on a very stable surface otherwise it'll disconnect.
