This is Excellent glue for book-binding.
I have used this glue to repair the bindings on many books, and it works so much better than the glues that dry hard and then crack and let the pages fall out of the book. This glue dries quickly, but when it's fully dry it is flexible. Use this glue and you will enjoy the rewards of properly binding books so they last for much longer. I have also used it to make new bindings for books that I print. Every library has books on re-binding books, and the information is all over the internet, too. All you need is this glue, a few other simple tools, and the ability to follow simple directions. This glue is used by pros.

Love this glue for bookbinding, but open it up and verify it's usable before storing it!
I purchased this to replace the solidified gallon container of neutral pH adhesive that I bought a year ago and opened this up right away to verify that it was usable. It is and I was able to finish my writing journal. I love this glue for bookbinding, but make sure to open it up and verify it's usable before storing it for long periods! Bought a gallon nine months ago and didn't open it up until now. It's approximately 80% solidified and unusable.

Canvas stuck well to plywood!
I tried three glues. I started with hardware store "cement" and it was super strong even before letting it set, but it was yellow, and not for flexible surfaces. Next I tried stic flat glue. Very rubbery/gel that was difficult to spred. Fairly strong adhesion they are labeled 2 in red. This glue, the PVA was the strongest hold and poured well. I glued a 31x31 inch canvas to plywood. I started at the bottom of my canvas and board gluing 6 -12 inches at a time with glue on the board and on the canvas backing. Starting from the bottom center up and out, I squeegeed the surface with a clean towel and my hand. The glue dries semi fast and I'm in a dry climate so I moved quickly and used a decent about of glue. This was great when it came to rolling the edges over but I had to press and re press it in place. I cannot even pick a corner up after 24hours of drying. I will never do 3D canvas again while I have kids. I was able to store my project in a roll when not working on the painting. For this piece I made an alphabet for my kid, and I didn't want their explorative fingers peeling the canvas at the edges, or poking fingers through a stretched canvas on a frame. I will do this with higher quality acide free board next time for their growth chart I made as well. I think I have 2/3rds a bottle left. I read a review that said it was nothing more than Elmer's glue. Yes it is white, and a little runny, and to be far I didn't test Elmer's in this way. But after teaching art for 15 years, and working with lots of glues, I'm pretty happy with the result and would not have even bothered testing Elmer's, or tacky craft glue. If doing a lot of this kind of work a squeege would help, I have almost no ripples or bubbles but the canvas did move and stretch and I pressed multiple times as it dried to make sure it took. Also next time I would have aloud for an extra inch all around for wrapping over the back.

Best one for Bible rebinds
Best glue I have found. Don't have to rush doing the rebind part you are working on as it need to air dry just a little to get that tackiness. Once it sets... it is set. Flexible when dried. Easy to use and work with and easy to clean off when you over apply.

It's thick but works
I'm using it my handmade junk journals since spray adhesive didn't work. It was recommended for junk journal book making.

A Lifesaver for an Avjd
This is a lifesaver! I use it to Jimmy old books, and for my purposes it is wonderful. I can strengthen weak bindings and even attach detached covers. I even adhered books that split apart. Lately I've used it to coat old leather that was decomposing into an annoying orange powder that stains EVERYTHING it touches. Now the covers are slick and look classy. Granted this is not professional-for-Sotheby's repairing, but for personal use, it can't be beat.
