Wow...it really works!
Not only am I a lazy person, but I am also very skeptical. So when I see something like this, my initial reaction is usually "yeah, right!". But my lazy side won this argument and convinced myself to give this is shot, since I had two twelve-light windows to prep and paint. So I ordered it and gave it a shot. And all I can say is "WOW!".I was using a brush, and not a sprayer, since this was a relatively small-scale project, so I started brushing it on with a one-inch chip brush. The first half of the panes I only did 2-3 inches onto the window from each muntin, but the rest I did covering all the glass from side to side, top to bottom. I tried to keep it off the wood and glazing as much as possible, even though the directions say cover it all.I waited for the requisite 24 hours, then did one coat of peel stop primer, then a latex top coat. I waited two days, then set out with my utility knife for the unmasking. I was expecting a long, arduous process...but,it only took about 10 minutes to do all 24 panes, There were only a couple instances where I left a little bot of the masking on the window and had to use a razor scraper to get the window clean, but everything else just peeled RIGHT off. And when I use this in the future, I will use the "full glass" method in every windows. it's a lot faster just to pull off one big sheet.I wish this stuff was around when I initially painted my conservatory about 8 years back. that has 158 (yep, count 'em if you don't believe me!) individual panes. I literally spent more than $100 in blue painter's tape when I did that, and not to mention it took me a solid 8 hours to mask all the windows, and then probably more time than that peeling it off, since I had to go verrry slowly to avoid pulling the paint off the frames or muntins. And I had to do inside AND outside each window. Very time consuming and frustrating! When they next need to be repainted (hopefully not for a while; they're holding up great) I'll be sure to use this stuff, and will probably opt for the spray method. Well actually I hope by then I'll be able to afford to pay someone else to do it, but I haven't hit the powerball yet!!

Much easier than tape
It’s a great idea and much easier than taping. I was staining some French door with all those little pains if glass and it was a snap. Only problem we had was that it was pleasant outside initially and the stuff was all nice and rubbery then we had a cold snap and it turned brittle and flaky. Had to scrape it off. Still wasn’t much trouble but best to use in warm weather.

Excellent product!!!
This stuff is absolutely amazing! I never imagined I would be so impressed. You simply paint it on (2 coats) and then paint as sloppy as you want...fearlessly. Slice, peel and Voila!!! The cleanest paint line you’ll ever experience. It also doubles as a primer so you can paint it on the window and the wood frame. I used this on a French door with 9 windows, two windows that measure 20”x 40” and a door with a semi-circle of 5 triangular windows. I have more than half of a can left. Definitely worth every single penny. I was so dreading painting around these windows. Painters tape is notorious for bleeding. I’m slightly OCD and just couldn’t bear the thought of a sloppy paint job. Fear no more!

where has this been all my life !
This is an incredible product. It really deserves a 10 star - no lie. I bought it for a house we are flipping where the windows are brown from 1960's and we had to paint every window in the house with several coats of both KILZ and also paint. I needed a fast way to apply this product and get to painting so this is what I did to save time. I poored it in a plastic pan liner. I used a $2 rectangle shaped applicator from home depot that has a foam handle and has a soft bottom that is soft. I applied this product to each pane fast with a UP, LEFT DOWN, RIGHT, UP LEFT DOWN RIGHT 2 or 3 times around each panel not really making it perfect if it went on the wood a little. I did make sure I added too much not too little. Applying first coat and waited 45 minutes with fans on and applied a second coat - a HEAVY coat just heavy enough that it wouldn't run. I only applied the second coat to the outside border not to the center of the glass area so much. The next day I sprayed the glass and frame over the day with several coats and the day after it was time to remove. I cut with a razor blade box cutter a clean simple perfectly scored 4 lines on the outside edge so that when I pealed it off it would be exactly where I wanted it to peal and it worked perfectly. It is important to score the corners perfectly where you want it to peal away. NOT only does it work perfectly but it cleans the windows also which was huge perk for me as these were gross. Now, I had a not so brilliant idea to use elmers glue to see if it would work as well and let me tell you NO it does not work at all. We ended it scraping it all off the hard way and it was terribly stuck on the glass so take our lesson and do not try that !I bought 2 quarts and it did the whole house, 2 heavy coats on all glass panels as explained above.Hope this helps others. This saved me SOOOOOO much time on this project and the finished perfectly cut lines made it look so nice when done. The extra that I did not worry about getting on the wood just painted perfectly and is not noticeable in the end.

Easy, time saver for beautiful finish
Works so well! Easy to apply and clean results. A quart went a long ways. I did all of the windows in my breakfast nook and living room and it made painting the thin mutton rails a breeze. (The picture shows one pane cut and film removed. You can see the difference.) I wholeheartedly recommend this product.
