I looked at reviews and I feel for what I got it for, its perfect! I bought for when my daughter goes to camp so has all the needed features. Please note that is takes 2 different kinds of batteries which it only comes with 1 size so purchase watch batteries for flashlight part

As advertised on Amazon it says it takes two AAA batteries, which it does but what the description does not tell you is that it takes some other batteries as well. AG 13 button cell* 3 pieces included. Whatever that is, but whatever it is it's not included. It's nowhere in this really cheap packaging. The flashlight doesn't work so I'm assuming that's what you needs. Those batteries that are included but aren't included. Now that Amazon charges for returns. I'm not sending it back but I may try selling it on a yard sale or something. In the meantime I'm going to have to buy something else.

I like the design of the clock, and when foreign travel resumes for casual travelers, it will be a nice clock to take with me. However, I found the instructions extremely confusing and don't understand what half of them mean. I managed somehow to set the time, but haven't figured out how to set the time for an alarm. And while the info on-line states that no batteries come with it, the instructions state that 3 button batteries, needed for the flashlight function, are included ... but they aren't. Anyway, the device itself is a good idea, so I'm going to keep it, but the instructions need a revision.

I travel around the world and this small, portable clock keeps me abreast of the time no matter what country I'm in. The backlight is a plus also.

I would give this a zero rating but that is not an option. The directions indicated that it doesn't come with AAA batteries but it does come with the button batteries. Well it doesn't. I purchased the button batteries, but good luck inserting them. Cut your losses and don't buy this or return it as soon as you receive it. As soon as I'm done with this review, I am returning this alarm/light. However I am still out the cost of the button batteries.

Mine is branded Magellan, but seems identical. It has two AAA batteries that last years.* Press Mode to cycle between Clock > Alarm time > Countdown timer* While on Clock press ˅ to cycle between Seconds > Temp °C > Temp °F* While on Alarm press ^ to cycle alarm on and off* Press Set on Clock, Alarm or Countdown to adjust settings - While in setting mode press set to cycle though screen areas - Press ^ and ˅ to adjust the setting up and down

this little clock is wonderful for traveling. The time zone is very easy to change and the flashlight on the end has been very useful. I keep one at home, too

Clock works off of 2-AAA batteries. The flashlight won't work unless you put in 3-AG13 button batteries, which the paper that comes with it says are included but they aren't.Wanted to carry just this instead of flashlight and alarm clock. Ad never mentions the button batteries but is useless without them. Should use 3-AAA batteries and no button.Will try to find batteries.
