Wilson Golf Tour Velocity Distance, 15 Balls, White, Compression 70, Ionomer for Maximum Distance

These are brilliant balls for a beginner:- They're cheap and I lose a lot of balls- They feel great off the tee and genuinely add yards even over other distance balls- I've found them consistent and confidence inspiring on the greens- I'm not good enough to deliberately generate backspin etc. which I don't think these are the best balls for. Instead, I need a ball that comes out of the rough even on a poor strike and these are great for that.I hope one day to be a good enough golfer to require a premium ball, but for now these are improving my game better than if I used ProV1s every round.

Went for a harder ball and slightly harder compression 70....gained 15 yards off tee with no real loss of feel or spin.

The Wilson velocity ball is an excellent ball for the winter as it has a low compression and less likely to cause numb fingers if hit a bit thin. It also performs well and is very good value for money.
