Good quality and functions well.

It does as it should and has made it even easier to try out different teas as I don't have to guess how long it's been. Rather sturdy as well as it doesn't matter how often my cats try messing with it or knocking it over, it has yet to break or crack.

This timer is so fun! It's adorable on the shelf and it takes the guess work out of how long to steep! I was setting the timer on the microwave but this is just so much easier, not to mention, it's just cute and fun to use!

Excellent for my daily tea needs

I drink a lot of tea and I use my microwave timer, as it's the most convenient one I have in the house. That incessant beep beep beep is pretty annoying though, if I'm across the house when it goes off, but I learned to live with it. Recently we went to Scotland and had cream tea in an adorable little tea shop, and they brought one of these to the table. I immediately ordered one and am so happy that I did. It makes my cuppa tea even more enjoyable.

I saw a product like this at that Empress Hotel in Victoria, Canada and new I had to find one for myself. While I wish the colors of the sand were a bit prettier I always get comments from guests asking me where I got this item. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the timeing of the sand seems to be accurate.

This is a really good thing to have in one's kitchen for timing things for 3, 4, or 5 minutes. We use it in brewing our loose leaf teas. The quality is very high. It's a wonderful timer. Very glad I found it and bought it.
