Another top ppv for my sons collection. He's very happy with this dvd. All matches are good. A must for true WWE fans.

An event that really did not inspire beforehand but turned out out just fine.We kick off with BECKY LYNCH taking on NATALYA in a submission match for Becky's title. Well the submission rules added something to it but still did not sound unmissable,though it turned out very watchable. Nothing brilliant but very good in places,builds up and does a good enough job for an opener.GOLDBERG vs DOLPH ZIGGLER was hardly going to be a 20 minute classic but at least it tried to give a shock or 2 to start off. Ok,a short time filler but quite entertaining.RICOCHET attempts to regain his US title from AJ STYLES in a very good match. Not quite the classic it could have been,but still very good.BAYLEY defends her title against EMBER MOON in a match that sounded like it could have been great if built up better. A fine encounter that should have been better. It really was just about enjoyable but had next to no hype which hurt it.KEVIN OWENS put his career on the line to face SHANE McMAHON. Not great but very good and with stipulations being changed during the match,it held something pretty good to get into.CHARLOTTE goes against the hall of famer TRISH STATUS in what was set to be a top match and it was. Ok,not a huge classic but very impressive and at least tries to steel match of the night.KOFI KINGSTON defends against RANDY ORTON and it doesn't do as expected. It's fine but takes a while to really get anywhere. The end though is dumb and very frustrating.FINN BALOR goes against THE FIEND in a match that simply could not beat the entrance of THE FIEND,it was brilliantly done.Match,short,moment,big.BROCK LESNAR defends against SETH ROLLINS.Sounded dull but picked up quite early and really worked. Longer than expected and actually did the job that had to be done.So summerslam actually worked and not too long had me entertained.
