Drag does not work
For the money it's junk. I didn't get a chance to use it until after the return window closed. After $45.00 worth of line and leader the first test run was the last. With the drag torqued all the way down I can pull the line off the reel with ease. Cant return it and cant fish with it. Complete junk

Not bad, but...
The Slosh 50 has good cranking power and good casting with all the brakes on. Do note the one amazon is selling is probably old stock. The other review, Michael, I hope you see this so your reel is not a waste: the original felt drags are undeniably screwed: mine produced basically 0 drag locked down. I switched to carbontex from smoothdrag for 18.80 usd plus shipping and it can now pull around 15-20lb of drag. This should be good for 40lb mono. I dont have a scale but I compared the pull to my BG 4000 which has 17.6lb of drag at max with the rotor flexing heavily and the sealine felt a little harder than the BG when locked down. You have to lock that star down though to get a high enough drag. A guy from alantani.com got 22lb on carbontex drags. IMO, save yourself the trouble and get the Daiwa Seagate as it already has the carbon drags and newer gearing. The Sealine is not bad, it is a reliable and rugged design. The Seagate is just more modern with newer features like instant anti reverse for 10 USD more.
