Halloween: Resurrection [Blu-ray]

Got the awesome collectors edition from the 15 disc box set for $38 and it kind of gives me a little taste of what the rest of the Halloween’s special features! The movie itself is a guilty pleasure it’s not all great but it still a Halloween film so I can’t pass it up! At this price it’s awesome I paid the price when I can see that the original brand new price for just the regular blu Ray is $80 and I got the collectors edition for $38! Big shout out to Half Price Books and a very big thank you, even if it is just Halloween Resurrection.

This copy still has the shrink wrap but with the bottom cut out for the tape! I used to do that with all of the new VHSs I bought so I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Sure it is no where near being as good as the original, but as a fan of the Halloween's I love them all including this somewhat cheesy attempt to keep the story going. If you are going to believe that a man can be shot and blown up and all that other stuff and can still live on then you cannot complain about this flick. Plus it has great comedic one liners that will make you laugh. My opinion is that is still better than half the crap they make nowadays!

Ever since the very first Halloween movie, I have been hooked on this series. I have to admit, the only ones that I own are the ones with Jamie Lee Curtis in them, mainly because it's a continuation of the original. I honestly didn't expect much out of this one, but I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be pretty good, and I don't think you will be disappointed in this movie, either.

On terms of story line, this movie is not the strongest Halloween, but the first part of the film is what you get your moneys worth. They explain how he is still alive from H20, and it isn't corny. Nothing supernatural, dont worry. Then a shocking moment happens when Michael and Laurie confront each other again. It's edge of your seat stuff. What I also really liked is the crazy guy explaining Michael's killing career and he ignores Halloween 4,5, and 6. Those of you Halloween nerds, like myself, that hated 5 and 6 will love that. After the nut-ward scene of the movie, it is just a body count movie. Halloween has never really been a body count movie, until this one.That is why so many people didnt like this Halloween, because it didn't have much of a story. It was just Michael walking around his house killing people. I love the Friday the 13th series, and those are the body count movies, so of course I liked this Halloween. Don't expect H20, if you loved that movie. This Halloween really stands alone. It's really fun and has a few good scares. Check it out.

H20 & Resurrection are my favorite Michael Myers movies. I can't believe I paid $68.95 to own this movie, but it was worth it.

From the very beginning of the movie I knew this was something way different from any of the other movies, but somehow I really liked it. It brought on a new, much darker, style to the series that you really do want to watch.I think the best thing about the series is Laurie Strode, and Jamie Lee Curtis has some of her best acting throughout the beginning of the movie. That's why I gave this not one star, but two!They really could have made something good, but it was all wasted as soon as the real credits started and there was some lame plot. The camera angles are so confusing through the whole thing except for the beginning, and the acting flat out sucks (after Laurie Strode's part). It's a flat out waste of money to rent or buy this film, because I can honestly say that I won't be watching it again, although I might watch the beginning with the great Laurie Strode many times to come.It doesn't seem like a real Halloween film should be, because it's a bunch of wacky college or high school students staying all night in the Myers' home for people on the internet to watch. The murders began, but you can't really figure out WHY Michael wants to kill all of these people. The reason he really kills people is because they're in his way for him to get to his family, but now, he's just going on a killing spree for no apparent reason other than a few people are staying in his house.So I guess it would be a good idea to check this movie out because of the really great beginning with Laurie, but I barely was able to watch the entire thing. It kept me bored and yawning.

Finally I got my favourite film on dvdExcellent condition, priced perfectly and will buy more

Turned out I’m in the wrong region and can’t play them but still a great addition to my Halloween collection

si me ha gustado mucho para ser una peli de miedo recomendaría comprarla aunque el audio para ser hd master audio 5.1 castellano no es muy bueno no se si es que no han subido el sonido al grabarla en blu ray
