Avid 99006543700 Plug-in Tier 1

Exactly as expected, an extended Apple keyboard with new keycaps with the ProTools commands on them. Great for folks who don't work with ProTools constantly and are forgetting the keys for things. Only slight caveat is that the letters on the keys are obscured a bit, so if you're not the best touch typist, you might have to look an extra second to see what key you're typing on :) A bit pricey but good and useful, will pay for itself in saved time.

Love it, but I wish it were cheaper. It will probably help you out if you are just getting started.

I can not locate any information on using this keyboard! No instructions in the box. No instructions on manufacture web site. Lots of pretty colors but which key (shift, control, command, option.... ) do I need to press to make the function work? What am I suppose to figure this out myself via hunt and peck? Unbelievable! I going to return this.

I had the shorter Mac version before that failed after 4 years. Now that I've received this longer colorful version so glad to have these extended features. Also, the added benefit of plugging into my computer versus batteries. So weary of replacing batteries continually! I also enjoy the feel of the keys, the color coating adds an adhesive type texture to the keys that reminds me of a teflon coating affect. Your fingers adhere then release quickly from the keys.

This keyboard is actually just an Apple keyboard (https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Keyboard-Compatible-v-10-6-8-MB110LL/dp/B005DPF08E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467675059&sr=8-1&keywords=mac+keyboard+numeric+pad) retrofitted with software-specific key faces. And while it definitely serves the purpose, I feel like it's probably not worth the extra $50.

Too bad it isn't back-lit, as in -softly- glowing keys. Then I'd give it 10 stars. Hope the coating lasts. I'll let you know in a year.

This keyboard comes in super handy, all of the keyboard shorts cuts are clearly labeled and color coded. Makes learning keyboard short cuts much faster. Replaced my stock Mac keyboard with this one. Definitely a nice Pro Tools specific keyboard. A bit expensive for a keyboard. otherwise great.

Fully read description and reviews. It says the support plan is one month but the box came says it is for academic institute not student. Suspect it is good for 12 mo even though the support is. Am really disappointed that even though the reviews are good item is not an upgrade as people say and described.

Ya he instalado el software dos veces y lo registré en la cuenta de Avid, sin embargo al iniciar muestra un error y no arranca.Escribí a Avid sin obtener respuesta.Espero no haber tirado a la basura lo que pagué.

Per chi usa protools averla è un must!! l'unico difetto è che non ha il pulsante dell'accensione del computer, ma del resto non le fanno più (nessuna marca) con quel tasto, che era comodissimo. il design e realizzazione è sempre Apple. Avid ha cambiato solo i pulsanti, quindi la garanzia di qualità è assicurata da Apple!!! ottimo acquisto.
