Great Game - very portable
This is a very popular game based on the TV show that starred Howie Mandell as the host. The best part about the game is that when you pick the briefcase number that you think the $1 Million is in, then the odds are stacked really high that either it is in there or in another briefcase. The main point is to get to beat the banker and win as most money as possible. There is another version that was based on Season 4 of the show that deals with the roulette wheel to see if your money is doubled or tripled. Also there is a version that I have that is from the UK too. Very fun game that you can take with you on the plane, or to the beach or even at home.

Item doesn’t turn on and is in old nasty condition
I thought I was purchasing a new game for my grandmother who just lost her husband. We couldn’t even turned the game on. I ran out and got new batteries because my grandmom was so excited to use it...she loves deal or no deal. To be able to turn the game on ... you constantly had to put a small pen in the reset button. The regular on off button did not work. And let me tell you that game looked like it was thrown, kicked, stepped on, colored on. It was just horrible. Worst experience on Amazon, ever.

Deal or No Deal Howie?
I bought this little game for my daughter because she enjoys watching the television show. We have had no problems with it, and even though it's not as fun as the real thing, it's worth the $8 :) 6 months of playing it, and its still going strong, we have not even had to replace the batteries and its still working as good as the day we got it in the mail.

Not worth it.
I bought this as a Father’s Day gift for my dad because he’s obsessed with this show but I was so disappointed. The font/words etc are really small and some of the words don’t show properly. It’s not that easy to use and he doesn’t even play it. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who is near sighted or anyone who has trouble reading small print. Also, other handheld games are made so much better than this one.

Terrific.
I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift this year and he already has the game and loves it, but his is kind of broken and it's just a hassle to deal with. The product showed up in original packaging and in brand new unused condition, although I purchased it as a "used" product, a Collectable. I am very much pleased and I know that he will be as well.

Fun for the Money
This handheld DOND game isn't totally bad for the $15 it cost. Here's my review, and I hope to get a user pic up online of my unit too.PROS -I like the on off button at the top, alot of these handheld games just don't have one, so its a nice feature. You have the option of turning the game sound on or off, even during the game, there is no volume control, but as the "duct tape" can fix everything, you could always cut a small piece of duct tape and place it over the speaker if you wanted sound, but didnt want it loud! Or other methods of just covering the speaker w/a napkin or something..The game is quite addictive and you always seem to want to play, "just one more" game before finally determining that there are other things in life to do! (the NBC DOND game you can play online is much quicker and is visually better)CONS:I really dont like that the numbers are so small, it makes it very hard to see if you don't have light at the right angle. It would be nice if had a backlight, that would make those late night games alot easier!I wish that there was a screen contrast adjustment, especially at the bottom, the case numbers to select are in 3 or 4 rows, are font size maybe 5 or less and are just very small, they all start off as black numbers and when you arrow to select one, the case you land on flashes between black and a light grey, once you select the case it turns light grey to show you have already selected that one. It would really help if they ever make a newer version of this game, it wouldn't be that bad if the game itself were a little bigger to enable a visually friendly screen.------------------------------------------------------------Ah, its not that big of a deal there is really no vocal sounds, the music is kinda cheesy, but all in all its a fun game for $ 15. It's fun, all a game of chance really, and hey on my 3rd time playing it, i actually picked the 1,000,000 case ! and got the million, no bells or whistles happened after that, the scrolling marquee at the top, which is where it gives you instructions and deal offers did say something like "SWEET!"I did stop in the middle of game to do something once and the game was waiting for me to select cases and it said in the marquee "Let's go already.." guess it was impatient!Wouldn't hurt to buy this game, $ 15 won't really break a bank and it's a fun pastime.

ok but not the real thing
I love the television show, and this game isn't bad but it isnt the same, I guess it would be hard to match giving away that kind of money. It's fun and okay but I wouldn't probably buy it again if I had a chance.

Only 2 batteries in game!
Item states batteries included and and after pulling tab to power on it would not power on. Removed back panel and 2 batteries noted. How can that happen if it states it is new.
